Service was terrible. Having been a server for 15 years I can understand perhaps someone having an off day, but I have been there on three different days and it was bad each time. Also, if you're there during busy hours it is very very loud. All the seating is in one large open area and it's hard to carry on a conversation, I also feel that for the type of restaurant it is that it's very overpriced. I gave it two, instead of one star, because the food was decent and the decor is decent as well.
Review Source:I used to go to Bill's Diner with my mom when we lived in the little neighborhood behind it. I remembered that the food was always good and the staff and overall experience was always enjoyable.
Now, 15 years later Bill's Diner is still open and still great. The dining area has changed over the years (from separated smoking and non-smoking areas to one big dinning room), but a great meal no matter what time of day.
My Bill's Diner Highlight- Rice Pudding!
It was great. It took us a few years to decide we wanted to try this place, finally we decided that a place that busy must be worth a shot. We were not disappointed. It's classic diner food, and good a that.
its the kind of a place where they stop and turn when you walk in, but after eating there once, everyone knows you and the coffee flows like water.
In all honesty we have only had breakfast here, a few times, and every time the service and food was worthwhile.
