As good as it gets when south of Chicago's River North triumvirate of Uno's, Lou Malnati's, and Gino's. Nancy's makes an absolutely wonderful stuffed pizza. The sauce is thick and slightly tangy, the cheese is just the right amount of gooey hot goodness. The crust is almost like a thicker pie crust, tasting more confectionary and buttery than a regular pizza crust. The full stuffed too much for ya? Nancy's also offers a stuffed lite, more like a half thickness deep dished version. Their thin crust is splendid as well! Get pepperoni with extra sauce, yum! They have recently expanded their menu to include a large selection of pastas, lasagnas, and ALMOST the best beef sandwich in town.. that distinction belongs to little known italian deli Rondinellas on south Rt. 50 in Bradley. Nancys is the most expensive pizza joint in town, but it's clear they use top notch and very fresh ingredients to work their magic, they spare no expense in making a great pizza. The end result is well worth spending a few extra bucks.
