You'll be created perfunctorily and led to a table or booth in this older, primarily Greek inspired diner. Â The wait staff is friendly and helpful. Â VIPS does a great job with their dutch oven pancake, breakfast skillets (love the Greek skillet), and offers daily lunch and dinner specials, which are good values, in addition to their long menu. Â Coffee is good; beer and wine available.
Review Source:My mom and her friend eat here ALL THE TIME, and since I join them once in a while, I thought I'd review. Â They have daily specials and a pretty extensive menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Â Mostly classic American with some Greek and Mexican options. Â
I have only been there for dinner--maybe once for lunch. Â You get the bread and cracker basket, soup and/or salad and dessert. Â Plenty of food and it's always been tasty. Â
There seem to be a lot of regulars here, including quite a few grey hairs (my mom being one of them), there is still a mix of people from all ages. Â It's family-owned and operated. Â They seem to know the regulars by name and ask how they have been, etc. Â
My five stars is based on consistency, service and patience. Â I tease my mom about being a picky eater--she always has changes to her order and they always accommodate her. Â It's a very nice change to the chain restaurants in the area.
