Not as good as I was expecting by the previous reviews, but it was alright. It didn't help that I had the maple bacon brie burger and without thinking put ketchup all over it! Oops. Although I liked the creativity and decent quality of the toppings, the burger that was supposed to be medium had barely a speck of pink. My husband had the same issue with his burger. We both kinda shrugged, like, meh...maybe we would go again, maybe we wouldn't. I think the decor could use a big overhaul/upgrade to be more in line with the great name that set my expectations high. Sounds like it should be a bit fancier, but feels like you are eating at Friendly's or Blake's.
Review Source:I went here to get a bite to eat before heading back to Boston. I was visiting a friend in Woodstock who recommended this place. I sat at the bar & my barmaid, Tabatha, was very nice & accommodating. I don't eat red meat, so I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. I asked for cheese other than cheddar, & she politely obliged. The sandwich & fries were very good. The atmosphere was pleasant too, as it was midweek & not that busy. I really wanted to have one of their nice alcoholic coffee drinks, but I had a long drive ahead. I would go back here in a heartbeat!
Review Source:If first impressions defined our experience, there would be fewer stars on our review. Â We (party of 5) walked in and were essentially ignored by what appeared to be a 'strung out' waitress at the counter for at least 2 full minutes. Â Another waitress passed back and forth behind her a few times and neither one of them acknowledged that we were standing there. Â Eventually, one of them (not the 'strung out" one) made eye contact and said she would be with us shortly. Â We were escorted to our table and this waitress took our order. Â The beer was very cold and served right away, but my daughter's order for a ginger ale became a can of pepsi instead (no big deal, she drank it anyway). Â
Our burgers were actually delicious and cooked perfectly, the fries were crispy and hot. Â The bacon-brie was yummy and the pretzel roll was a nice addition. Â My husband ordered mushrooms on his bison burger which were forgotten. Â
Despite some shortcomings, this place really has some potential  Our waitress was friendly and attentive, although she appeared very busy.  The food was very good and worth a second chance.
Give it a try!
This place saved saved my husband's life!  He's got several digestive issues and after many dissapointing meals in Lincoln  during our summer vaca (one of which made him sick - literally!) we decided to try this place on the suggestion of one of the  guests where we were staying.  The food here was great, my blackened chicken was the best I've had in a long time and hubby greatly enjoyed his burgers and fries. Our only regret is that we did not find this place on the first day.
Review Source:Pretty decent food. Stopped in on a rainy day- server was helpful and polite. Burgers were tasty, juicy, and how we ordered them (medium well). I had cheese and mushroom- definitely not lacking in that area. Partner had burger and blue cheese. We ate until we were full. Fries were fine. Cooked well- tasted like most fries taste. Â Decent bottled beer selection- about 10+ varieties- lots of local brews which is nice!! Â We were told they were under new ownership and the place that was here before was gross.
Overall- nice place for a nice burger at nice prices. $33 for two burgers and four local beers.
We came here after our first choice restaurant was closed. It's an OK kind of place, nothing spectacular but not horrible either.
I started with the chili mac & cheese. It was pretty tasty and not something I'd seen as a menu item before. The two items worked well together.
We both got a bacon cheeseburger, he with onion rings & I with french fries. We both upgraded to the pretzel roll. The burgers were good as was the roll. The fries were just so-so and the BF said the onion rings were barely warm.
It did the trick and fed us, prices weren't horrific and they don't charge for refills.
