Bocaditos

Definitely the place to eat if you are eating in Brookfield Zoo. The prices are not that much more expensive and it is much more interesting than eating in the food court. Plus, the food is good and the views are amazing. Go in the summer when they are open later.

When you visit Brookfield Zoo, consider eating something so much nicer than just your basic burger and fries.  Bocaditos is a fine Mexican restaurant located on the 2nd floor (near the Living Coast exhibit).  Good food, full bar and pleasant service.  The view is amazing!  They are open 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 every day (some days in the summer they may stay open longer).

My daughter and I just attended a Christmas party here.  The food was very basic but good - pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, winter vegetables, salads, the typical cold weather comfort fare.  The space was very appealing.  Lots of folk art of animals, knotty pine tables, and floor-to-ceiling windows on one side of the long room for a view of the icy outdoors.  Very pretty.
