This is a private club and outsiders have to be a veteran of a foreign war (and able to prove it), or be a friend of one of the members there.
The strange thing about this place is that the main entrance to get in is the metal side door, and there is no sign so it's not clear how to get in. Ring the bell, or knock and someone will let you in if they are open. The place does not keep strict hours, but they are normally open 7 days a week and stay open until 8pm to 1am depending on the mood of the bartender and how many people are there.
They have parking for about 15 cars, with more spots around the back or down the street.
The hall in the back of the bar is often rented out for parties or meetings.
The place has cheap drinks and great bar tenders. Don't expect much variety at the bar; this is a place to drink cheap beer, wine out of a box, or simple hard alcohol.
The CD Jukebox doesn't have much in it, but what it has is OK.
All the customers at this post knows one another. If it's your first time there, be expected to introduce yourself to everyone.
This post occasionally has special event fund raisers to collect money for and do special things for disabled veterans at the VA hospital.
