The wine is great and well priced and you won't find a better "nice meal out" in Brookfield, from my adventures there so far. What surprised me most was the fun atmosphere. The tables are decoupaged with cool old bits and pieces, like a vintage school kid's map of France. There are couches for lounging and the flights are well thought out and well priced so you can linger for a while, enjoying. A great addition to the neighborhood!
Review Source:So I went last night with my husband and friend. The wine was great and fairly priced, however, the food, not so much.
We ordered a cheese flight (3 different cheeses) as an appetizer for the three of us. Â We chose the fontina, cheddar and cocoa cardona. Â This is what you get for $12:
One very thin slice of fontina, one very thin piece of the cocoa cardona and two small triangles of the cheddar, 4 1/3 size pieces of raisin bread, 2 tiny pieces of French bread and 3 club crackers. Â Seriously, what a joke. Â They need to reconsider the amount of cheese and bread to serve. Â At least 3-4 pcs. of each type and more bread and crackers.
Then we each ordered a pizza. Thin crust doesn't even describe it. They claim that it's 14". 14 square inches??? Â This thing was about 7"x7" and wafer thin served on a 14" slate tile.
The evening cost $150, $50 of which was wine which I was ok with because we ordered two bottles! Â I couldn't believe it. Â
I would got back but go elsewhere for dinner.
