Came here on Valentine's Day with the mister. He thought it was an Italian restaurant for some reason, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't since Italian food makes me all bloated and gassy.
Anyway, the place wasn't packed, and for that, I was glad. It was dimly lit, with ample seating and what looked like a full bar off to the side. We were quickly seated and drink orders were placed. I got my usual, Jack and coke and he got a Stella. Since neither of us have had Serbian before, we took a while to place our orders but the staff was very patient and helpful. (Also a man, who I'm assuming is the owner, handed me a single red rose shortly after we were seated. I thought it was very sweet.)
I don't remember exactly what I got, but it was good. My date got a veal dish that was also very good. He-ate-everything, and also some of mine. Lol. We couldn't decide on desert, so our waitress kidnapped my boy and led him to some back room lol. I'm assuming there's some type of pasty store back there from what he said. I didn't see it myself, but I think it's pretty cool that they have that.
During our meal, there was live music. Two men and a pretty lady serinanded us in Serbian and although I couldn't understand a word, I loved it. It was a really nice touch to a beautiful date.
I would definitely go back, especially since my drink was mixed perfectly lol.
