A friend and I stopped in here passing through Brady on motorcycles. Â The lady at the gas station said we had to eat here. Â She was right! Â I had the fried catfish and my friend had a shrimp po-boy. Â Both meals were great! Â We got there at the tail end of the lunch rush, but, I can tell that it gets crowded at peak times. Â Price is reasonable for what you get. Â If you like pinto beans, they have a big pot of them in the dining room that you just help yourself to... Kind of like an appetizer while you wait for your food to be brought out. Â We're making this a mandatory stop the next time we pass through Brady, for sure!
Review Source:This place is awesome. We had chicken fried steak, pulled pork sandwich and steak fingers. Had baked potato, home made French fries. Everything was awesome. Don't forget, they have a big pot of pinto beans, jalapeño and onions, just help yourself. Service was great. They  also have alot of seafood items with a cajun flair. Would definitely go back. We were just passing through and was recommended by a local.
Review Source:My boyfriend and I are working in the brady area and thus began our mission of finding the yummiest place to eat. Well the polls are closed and Boondocks has won by a landslide! I love this place! Food is always fresh and hot. My favorites include: Fried Jumbo Shrimp w/ baked potatoes and slaw, Gumbo, Etoufee and the calarmari is great! They also have fresh beans that you can serve yourself that are to die for! They make there own spicy tarter sauce and cocktail...if you are ever in brady and do not eat here you will be cheating yourself!
