Late night good service. .. forget about it. Â It was a Friday or Saturday night. Â It was a late shift but not closing time. Â Tables without customers were left with dishes on them in the bar area, leaving only the smoke filled patio open for siting. Â My company decided it was better to sit at a dirty table instead of smelling like smoke when we went back home. Â
We stayed at Boston's because the servi is generally good. Â This experience left a negative on the scale. Â Another negative will tip the balance and Boston will not be in the top three places to go to in the area for late night drinks and snacks.
Side note: the restaurant side is usually quiet and clean and the food is decent at a decent price.
This place is awful. I always order delivery since I work around the area and our order is always wrong. They never give us our sauces even when we order wings and chicken strips. Yesterday they left the plastic bags on the rice and vegetabes. They didn't even bother taking them off when they popped them out of the microwave. Never fresh, pizza sucks, and I was 50 cents short for the minimum delivery charge and they wouldn't deliver. Service is always so rude and I'm always put on hold for at least 10 minutes. They need to get it together.
Review Source:We went here the other day to do a little pre gaming before seeing the Hangover 3! Â I definitely recommend this spot if you are in Ontario and looking for good eats before a movie at Ontario Mills.
My friends and I went in around 7PM on a Saturday evening and were seated right away. Â This is a definite plus because BJs was about a 30 minute wait at the time.
After scouring the menu, I decided on a salad in my constant battle to be semi healthy. Â I ordered the mediterranean salad with chicken. It was so delicious. Let me remind you, this is a pizza place but they definitely know what they're doing with their salads! The salad had a light olive oil and vinegar dressing which was bomb diggity. Â There was feta cheese, kalamata olives, sundried tomatoes and grilled chicken. Â Yum!
The friends got chicken and broccoli (boo! but great) and the mushroom pizza. The S.O. also got a pint of beer. They said their dishes were great as well.
Our server was excellent and I had no issues with our trip. Â Good job Boston's!
Bostons is a small sized BJ's with a decent menu. Â We had the Chicken Milano with extra vegetables and iwas very good and very tasty. Â We would order this again. Â The side salad was just ok. Â The choped sald with flatbread had good taste and decent portion. Â The BBQ Chicken Pizza was ok, BBQ on pizza is not my thing, however others appeared to enjoy it. Â THe service was quite decent. Â My only knock on this that the portion size you get for the money you pay is not in line. Â A tad over priced. Â However the flavor, service and quality ranks it as a four.
Review Source:A manager or someone posted a message apologizing for the incident and asked who I worked for. Later another message was posted saying no discount is being offered to any organization. Come on. You know you offer discounts to people working in the hospitality industry in the area - only if it's TAKE OUT ONLY. Â I don't care about the discount anymore and all I did was ask if you would honor it for DINE IN. If you say NO, then it's NO.
Review Source:This place isn't bad at all. Â I came in by mistake thinking it was Boston Market (hey, it was late on a Sunday evening and I was tired...) I realized it wasn't Boston Market when I saw the TV's and oversized booths hahahaha
Anyways, I ordered a beer and the Meaty Pizza. Â I figured what the hell, I'm in a sports bar so clearly there's not going to be any "healthy" grub on the menu. Â And since it's technically still the weekend and weekends are my cheat days Pizza and beer it is...
I liked the atmosphere. Â It's pretty laid back and the waitress was pretty chill. Â The pizza was yummy and the beer was iced cold. Â What else is there to say?
I head here for lunch a few times a month and usually stick with a few go to dishes. Â They have consistently good service and are always friendly and attentive. Â It's never busy at lunch when I go and I usually get a nice booth. Â I like there salads and chicken entrees. Â Trisha is always a great server. I would recommend this spot.
Review Source:Met a friend here for a late dinner (9:30 pm) on a Thursday night. The place was pretty dead, so we were seated and waited on immediately by a friendly waitress.
I had the black pepper burger from their "new" menu, which was pretty tasty: very tender with a nice amount of kick. The fries were delicious - great seasoning on them.
Overall, it was a pretty solid place to meet up with a friend and grab some food/drinks while checking out a game or two on their myriad screens.
Last night myself and 3 other puck heads were planning on attending an Ontario Reign game. None of us had ever tried Boston's Restaurant so we decided on this place for a pregame meal because they're a sponsor of the team, and it's also very conveniently located right around the corner from the Citizens Business Bank Arena.
As we walked around the outside of the dining room to the front entry doors we could see quite a few empty tables inside, but when we checked in we were told that it would be at least a 15 minute wait. As we stood in the lobby waiting for our table, we a-l-m-o-s-t walked out to catch some burned cow flesh next door at Fat Burger. However, within 5 minutes we were told that our table was ready and we were seated. That made us think that we were told it would be a 15 minute wait in order to deceptively entice us into spending money at the bar while we waited for a table. Not a good start Boston Restaurant!
We had just finished discussing the need for some wings when an order of wings was delivered to the table next to us. The wings did not have that nice deep red color from Franks red hot sauce, they looked orange colored, and the wings looked to be of the size from yard birds, so at almost $1 per wing we decided to skip the wings and have some garlic twist bread. When the garlic twists were delivered we were all of the opinion that this was a good omen to come for the pizza we had ordered. The bread was made with yeast, not baking soda, it was lightly crisp on the outside, and soft & flavorful on the inside. Howsumbutever, there was very little flavor of garlic or butter on the outside of the bread. The pomodoro was better than most with a good blend of tomatoes, onions, pepper and parmesan. But once again the missing ingredient was the garlic. And some freshly diced tomatoes would definitely put this pomodoro over the top.
Just as we had hoped for, the crust of our pepperoni & sausage pizza was fantastic. We could tell by the texture that the dough had been well proofed & allowed to rise naturally. The sauce was slightly sweet and I swear I could taste a hint of marjoram in there. If so, primo choice mister chef. The cheese was plentiful and made from whole milk mozzarella, non of that rubbery skim milk garbage that many places in SoCal serve to their victims. The pepperoni was very flavorful but paled to the mind blowing Italian snausage. I cain't remember the last time I had such good sausage. And each time someone removed a slice of pie from the platter, 3 other hands battled for any snausage escapees.
Service at our table was absolutely fantastic. I tried to read our servers' name a couple of times but it was too dark in there for me to read it. Too bad. I would have liked to give her the credit she deserves. She even noticed that our bill had automatically added in an 18% gratuity which Boston's does for parties of 8 or larger, so when she returned with an amended bill I added a 25% gratuity.
So I would definitely say without reservation that Boston's Restaurant & Sports Bar earned our repeat patronage on a future night. Considering that we go to quite a few Reign games we will most soitenly be back again to try some of the other dishes on the menu.
Went here tonight and it was just OK. Â We ordered wings....1/2 "buffalo" and 1/2 asian. Â Asian were pretty good, buffalo wings were strange. Â Came with an orange creamy looking sauce on them. Â I guess it's called creamy buffalo or something. Â My question is WHY? Â What's wrong with regular Buffalo wings, with Frank's hot sauce? Â That's the real way to make them. Â Hubby thought maybe there were supposed to be nacho cheese flavored. Â Gross! Â I do like that the wings are fried and the size of them is pretty good as well. Â Pizza and calzone were alright. Â Nothing special, crust was too crispy and reminded me of frozen pizza to be honest. Â Sauce was not good either. Â Cheeseburger and fries were the best things we ordered. Â Service was ok, not overly friendly but attentive. Â I don't know if we'd go back. Â So many other restaurants to choose from in this area.
Review Source:Fantastic place with amazing service!! This place is a great family atmosphere that we attend. They have such a variety of delicious food that the only thing bad about it, is that it takes me too long to decide on what I want to have (but that's me, not the restaurant's fault). They have a great happy hour menu as well that I recommend to all :) make sure you try the Boston's nachos they are the best! Also from the different times we've been here, we've had many different servers. By far the best are Michele and Juan. No matter how difficult your order maybe or if you are with a large party, either one of them will give you great service you deserve.
Review Source:Checked in at Boston's on my way back from Vegas to LA. Â Was going to get a snack but ended up with more than I intended to eat. Â Everything looked good on the menu! Â Ordered the Buffalo Chicken pizza in small. Â Loved that you can choose different sized pizzas. Â The crust was cooked to perfection. Â Not too much oil in it too. Â BBQ sauce was amazing. Â Was recommended the steak flatbread and will be coming back for more! Â Very comfortable dining with large booths and t.v. screens viewable from every table.
Review Source:I like their draft selection!
BACON WRAPPED FILET MIGNON SKEWERS - good and tasty! We got it medium. Loved the dipping sauce.
HALF FLORENTINE/HALF SICILIAN PIZZA - it was good but... kind of no flavor? Def need ranch dipping sauce
SPICY GARLIC WINGS - Pretty good! Loved it. Good kick but wish it was a tiny bit spicier.
Overall, food was average. nothing CRAZY. Not sure if I would want to come back but  maybe for their beer.
This place is hit or miss, today was great usually about average. Food is fairly consistent and the prices arent too bad. The service is either really good or bad. Â MICHELE was AMAZING. Attentive we never ran out of anything and very friendly.
If you go ask for Michele she took an average experience and made it a very good  one.
Thank you Michele
You can't expect much from a sport bar/restaurant.....we planned to sit outside b/c we have a smoker in our group, but could NOT stand it...they need to put a fan or something outside at the smoking area so the air could circulate or go out or something.....
First batch of food - my steak/bacon had hair in it...we call the waitress and she made a joke out of it...ok good way to play it off.....the wings were decent....
second replacement of my steak/bacon wrap was burn, can barely eat.....
First waitress was a bit attentive, when she went home our 2nd waitress barely show up at our table.....

I've come here more times than I can remember which is a result of being at the bar too long!! This time I made it to the Restaurant side which was really nice! it was quiet compared to the bar side which can get crowded and loud when games are on. The pizza was really good. I got the medium pizza and requested to have them do a split toppings on the pizza. They were happy to at no extra charge. Beers still flow of plenty of this side of the establishment; however, no happy hour prices!
Review Source:So we're going out for dinner... and we're tired of all the usual spots - so we go on a whim to Boston's as we haven't been there in a while.
There are three in our party and we get there around 7'ish and it's not that busy (maybe this should've been our clue).
Place looks like we remember but our server has a complete attitude problem. Won't make eye contact with us, very off demeanor and it seems as if we're completely bothering him by being there.
We have our dinner and the food was good - not great but not bad by any means, but the service was completely lacking. Poor service can really make you want spend your money elsewhere... which is the case here.
used to go to Boston's all the time. Â The Happy hour is decent. Â We were so regular that the waitresses knew our drinks before we sat down. Â Even after the thousands of dollars my friends and I have spent at this bar over the past two years, they never show us love. Â Drinks are still watered down, nothing special for their regulars. Â Kind of over Boston's now. We may visit once every few months now. Â
Besides the drinks, I must say that the food is awesome. Â I love their baked cheese fries, bone-in hot wings, jalapeno poppers, Mama Meata bowtie pasta and their ribs. Their rbs are absolutely delicious.
I have been to this particular restaurant in Longbeach and really liked...so I decided being I live in Rancho to try this location.
Food was decent. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza and it was perfect size and tasty. My family ordered a variety of sandwiches and they were okay. I think the pizza is what shines here. My boyfriend ordered a beer, the beer on draft was flat. He returned it for a bottle of beer and said it was much better.
Service wasn't that great. We weren't greeted for awhile when we entered, a lot of tables in the restaurant were dirty, and service was really slow and lacked. I didn't get refill on my drink till the end of my meal, so I sat most of my meal without a drink. I would have asked my server, but she was nowhere to be found. The table next to us ordered desserts and it took them forever to receive it.
Maybe we just came at a bad time, I don't know.
Birthday Freebie! Free flatbread for your birthday!
Came during happy hour to redeem my certificate. We ordered a gourmet flatbread and a indy size pizza. My honey and I are both not a big fan of pizza or all food composed of carbs, but I have to say we were really impressed!
Service was decent, bathrooms are clean, and tons of parking - Surprise, we are in BFE!
I understand that the Stanley Cup Finals had just ended and the restaurant was probably recovering from the many people there celebrating. Each table in the bar was evidence as every empty table was full of pitchers of beer and pizza trays.
I went in with a friend about 30 minutes after the game and took a seat at a dirty table right next to 2 waitresses and 1 male waiter. The 2 girls were talking loudly about how they were upset and outraged that a customer was unhappy with the service. I understand this customer's concerns.
We waited 10 minutes and were not even acknowledged. I walked up to the bar myself to get 2 menus for us that were sitting there. We thumbed through the menu and kept thinking that the 2 waitresses and waiter would come over to clean the table or take our drink order. My friend and I kept staring at each other; we couldn't talk as the several TVs were all blaring and all different stations. We looked back and forth at the wait staff, then after 10 minutes decided to get up and walk out.
I can't rate the food, but I can rate the service; and service to me is almost as important as good food.
I came here this evening with my family for my sisters birthday, and it was an okay experience.
I had never been here before, but it was good at the beginning of our visit. We were seated right away, and were excited to see that had all their TVs on showing the sports games. However, we soon realized that while there were tons of TVs, each one was playing the same game. It would've been nice to have some variety.
We ordered our drinks, and it took a little longer than expected for the alcohol beverages to come. But my mom was very pleased with her Peach Tennessee Tea, she said it tasted like a jolly rancher. My sister had ordered a Cosmopolitan, and she wasn't a big fan of it. But it was her first time trying one so it could've just been the drink itself as opposed to the way it was made.
We ordered the southwest ravioli as an appetizer, and it's pretty small. There were like 8 pieces, and 6 of us at the table, so we ended up ordering a second plate to make it worth while.
It took a while for our dinner plates to come. But everyone seemed happy with their meal. My sister tried the chicken milano, and she said she didn't care for the white sauce, but she stuck it out.
I had ordered their chicken chipotle grilled sandwich with a caesar salad instead of fries. My salad came before the dinner plates, but my actual dinner plate came at least 5 minutes after everyone else's did. And I wasn't too impressed. The texture was nice and it was good and all, but there wasn't any flavor to it. I didn't taste chipotle sauce, and hardly tasted the chicken. Very bland. And even though I asked for a salad instead of fries, I ended up with fries. I figured I might as well try them and they were pretty good, some better than others.
They weren't busy at all, but we felt that service was lagging a bit. It was kind of hard to get our waitress' attention, but she was still courteous. They gave my sister a complimentary birthday ice cream, but they didn't sing a song or anything, just said happy birthday and ran to the next table.
Overall, this place is okay. I like that they offer a wide range of foods, so I'd definitely be interested in going again. But it'd be nice to see an improvement in the service and speed.
I've been here twice and both times the food and service was great. The Spinach Dip and little desert cups can be addicting. Yummy!
Since they don't take reservations I'd suggest arriving at least an hour prior to the start of your sporting event. The wait time was about 35 minutes which is average for a busy Saturday night near the mall. There was a $5 cash only cover charge at the door to watch the UFC fight. Â
Great place! Â
P.S. They deliver within 2 miles of restaurant..
I should have known better. Boston's Labels itself as "The Gourmet Pizza" Sports Bar. After deliberating on an acceptable dining location, my boyfriend and I agreed on the corporate gourmet bar, much to the chagrin of my boyfriend, who did not make this clear until later that evening.
It was a weekend evening, with zero drink specials, and Happy Hour didn't start until 11 pm. The blonde waitress seemed as fake as Carson Daly on TRL.
We love pizza, and the amount we spend on it reflects this. For whatever reason, we ordered nachos in addition to a pepperoni/mushroom pizza. What can I say? I am a cheese person.
The nachos were a One on a Five point scale. The tortilla chips were as thick as a homemade pie crust, and the processed cheese was just that.
The pizza, barring the crust, was sub-par. The toppings were scant, and the sauce was nearly nonexistent. The pie was palatable, credited only to the crust.
We spent too much on two big ass beers, only to have the TV featuring the ESPN sports recap shut off around 9:45 pm for no apparent reason.
Final thought. We walked out $60 less, having eaten a dinner less memorable than El Pollo Loco (no offense to El Pollo Loco). We will not be returning to this particular corporate trap.
Located on the northwest corner of 4th Street and Milliken, this restaurant chain is the latest import from you guessed it, Alberta, Canada! Â Seriously! Â This is one of two locations in California, with the other one in Long Beach. Â
In all honesty, I wasn't wowed by the food. Â Although they have a pretty impressive list of gourmet pizzas (strangely reminiscent of the types of pizzas available at CPK), the one that was recommended to me by our server (BBQ Chicken) didn't blow my socks off. Â And on another visit, the beef dip sandwich was exceedingly mediocre. Â This is not to say that I hate the place, it's brand new and pretty upscale, with a television screen visible from just about every seat in the house. Â It has a separate bar area which is huge and is constantly crowded.
It's the perfect place for people to go out for happy hour after work and hang out. Â The staff is friendly and accommodating, so a good time should be had by all.
