Boulder Tap House

We have ate this restaurant before and it is a place i would not recommend. My wife and I ordered burgers there and they weren't cooked to our liking they were burnt, also the prices of the food there are ridiculous. The beer was okay but $5 is expensive for a glass of. The waiters were all friendly, but  they had no seating for us because were waiting as well. The manager was rude in a profound manner as well about the burnt food. Also we knew someone had worked in there and what they told  us about them not properly clean there dishes was true we had small bits of food on the plates absolutely disgusting. Never will be eating here again!

Poor fries (cold and limp on 3 separate dining occasions so that's a total fail). Burgers decent. Skip the fish tacos and get a fish sandwich at McDonallds for a better meal at 1/3 the price. If you walk in and have to wait, there is no place to stand.. poor entry design. There is no walk-in seating except at the bar. Really don't want to wait at the bar with my kids. Manager is not very bright... defensive and arrogant responses to feedback. My feeling is that they think they are doing Brainerd a favor with their big city expertise....  Walk the talk Boulder Tap House. You only get a 2 because it's a nice room with a lots of TV's and tap beers. Everyone has been dying for an alternative to BWW but they have better wings and better seating for large groups. Small town guys..... better get your act together quick. Overall, BWW remains the best place for a quick meal with the kids or sports teams. The glossy finish of BTH isn't enough to make me drive up there. The final verdict comes from the kids who when given the choice 3 times since our last visit have nix'd Boulder every time.

I went with a group of 8 on a Sunday afternoon . Most of us ordered flights of beer so we were able to sample many ales and beers. Wait staff were friendly, knowledgable , and attentive. I've had better burgers and fries for a better price at other places in town, though. Plenty of tv's to watch sporting events. Since its a new place, I definitely will try again.
