Bread & Bottle

My husband and I stopped in for a couple of drinks this past Saturday night before we caught a show at the Fisher Center at Bard College. What a find! Lovely building, great staff, good prices, nice selection. We stopped in for just one drink at first, but we decided to stay for 2 hours because it was so inviting. At one point, some students from Bard set up in the corner and played a little jazz for us. I'd highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Bread and Bottle serves quality comfort food in a very beautiful setting. The owners are so warm and friendly, and bake their own bread. Lots of the charcuterie selections are smoked and cured in-house! Must-try's:  lomo (cured pork loin), and the red dragon, a soft mustard infused English cheddar. I wasn't drinking on this particular occasion, but next time I choose to partake, I'll definitely hit up their excellent draft selection.
