  My husband and I stopped in for a couple of drinks this past Saturday night before we caught a show at the Fisher Center at Bard College. What a find! Lovely building, great staff, good prices, nice selection. We stopped in for just one drink at first, but we decided to stay for 2 hours because it was so inviting. At one point, some students from Bard set up in the corner and played a little jazz for us. I'd highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

  Bread and Bottle serves quality comfort food in a very beautiful setting. The owners are so warm and friendly, and bake their own bread. Lots of the charcuterie selections are smoked and cured in-house! Must-try's:  lomo (cured pork loin), and the red dragon, a soft mustard infused English cheddar. I wasn't drinking on this particular occasion, but next time I choose to partake, I'll definitely hit up their excellent draft selection.

  My husband and I visited Bread & Bottle while passing through after Thanksgiving.  The vibe was welcoming, warm and modern, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious.  They have creative panini sandwiches and charcuterie, and great beers on tap.  It was unpretentious, comfortable, and creative without being stuffy.  We will definitely return!

  I came here opening night. I was pleased with the beers they had on tap-good  choices, although I wish there was more variety. The wine selections were alright, but nothing too spectacular. I did have an excellent cheese plate. I liked that all the cheeses were fairly local. The service was okay, but it took a bit for the waitress to bring our drinks around, but they were just opening so I could let that slide. Overall I would say this place has the potential to become a great hang out spot for locals.
