Brian's Steak House

There are not a lot of choices for restaurants on this stretch of highway.  Our teens wanted something different than the Pizza Hut/Fast Food choices in South Hill, so we decided to try Brian's.  Glad we did.  Steaks were good quality, cooked properly,  and the food overall was quite good.  The place is basically a gussied up diner, servers were polite and pretty efficient.  I would recommend this place.

A very Southern sort of place with a very Southern sort of crowd. serving greasy spoon diner fare. Came for breakfast, staff was polite and service was good. virginia salt cured Country ham was great  and grits were good.

Friendly service. Flavorful, tomato-based barbeque sauce. A good stop on the highway.
