Forgot to review this place from a few weeks back!
We had to grocery shop (Kroger's next door) but I was famished and know from many previous experiences that I cannot shop on an empty stomach. Â We stopped in and all I really wanted was a salad. Â Fortunately for me, I was able to get that - in a great way! The salad bar is really fantastic - lots of fresh options - the closest I can get to a Sweet Tomatoes in Cville ;)
Hubs had pizza and he liked it too, but I really think the salad bar stole the show!
I hate having to write a negative review but it's only fair to others, I guess. Â This used to be one of my favorite pizza restaurants--nice salad bar and excellent crust and pizza and a great draft beer list and all at a fair price. Â A couple of us went there tonight and learned it was taken over by a new owner 7 months ago. Â No more draft beer--and a poor selection. Â Salad bar was ok but no blue cheese dressing--what I thought was blue cheese was ranch (and not good ranch). Â The pizza menu looked pretty much the same...same names/toppings/etc. Â But then it arrived. Â it was the worst pizza I've ever eaten--no...I mean NO flavor. Â The crust was "dead"--no flavor. Â I had their special pizza with bacon, ham and sausage. Â How can such a pizza be flavorless--totally flavorless. Â I added salt (something I never do) three times...still no flavor. Â I had my dinner partner try it and she agreed. Â (by the way, her pizza also was bad) Â I ate only one piece of it. Â So....no blue cheese dressing; poor beer list; BAD...REALLY BAD pizza. Â The service staff were very nice...really sweet. Â But I cannot recommend it at all. Â In fact, I'd have to recommend that people not try it. Â Plus, for the two of us, it was $50. Â It must have been my worse restaurant experience ever.
Review Source:I second the review on here re: the new ownership. Â The last time I was here, the ketchup exploded on my clothes. Â Turns out the ketchup was rancid. Â The waitress brought me another bottle. Â I opened it, sniffed it, and almost threw up. Â The new bottle was spoiled as well. Â It's called a refridgerator, new owner. Â I'd say stay away until they go bankrupt from stupidity.
