The espresso is great, but the real reason to go are the sandwiches and, in the summer, the local tomatoes.  The sandwiches are the perfect size and price for a light lunch, and the flavor combinations are surprising and delicious.  Albemarle Baking Company pastries are always fabulous.

I always love when a new, small, independently owned business opens up in town. I went in here a couple of weeks ago when I first noticed it (it's a relatively new place) to see what it offered. It's quaint and well stocked for such a small place. Delicacies of all kinds. I hesitantly purchased one of their stuffed breakfast croissants (I say hesitantly because they looked like they might have not been made that morning or purchased from somewhere else) but I was so pleasantly surprised! It was still slightly warm and was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly. Would definitely go back.
