Citizen Burger Bar

I don't know what else you can expect from a burger... but you've found it if you eat a burger at the Citizen burger bar.

All the usual compliments to a burger apply... juicy, flavorful, good size, the choices of meat, buns, etc etc etc. Fries are awesome, both normal and sweet potato. Service? Our server was so attentive, and able to accurately help us choose amongst the large choice of beers...

Wow, man!  If you're in Charlottesvile, you know what you're eating tonight.

Citizen Burger Bar is a great addition to the downtown mall.

The fried pickles are simply phenomenal. They are whole spears and come with a tasty sriracha mayo sauce.

You can build your own burgers with a wide range of options from locally sourced beef to certified angus to chicken to a vegan patty. I had the chicken, which is also locally sourced, and it was some of the best tasting chicken I had ever had. The brioche buns are tasty, and they have a lot of options to add to the burgers.

Fast and polite service, clean and nice decor. Sweet potato fries were banging. Only compliant is iceberg lettuce on such a quality burger. Would have preferred a Bibb lettuce.
