Probably the most fancy place to eat in Pocatello, however the menu hasn't changed in a LONG time! The bartenders are very good and personable, and they have drink specials and a happy hour! Entres are a little expensive on the menu, but the horderves are filling at a better price point.
Review Source:Show me the service!
It's very hard to find a restaurant in Pocatello that can cook you a fresh (non-frozen) chef inspired meal. Â When combined with good service, dinner can be a very enjoyable experience, and one that is worth paying for! Â I like to ask myself, "how could I could create the same plate at home?," after enjoying a great meal. Â In this case, I don't think I would try to re-create what I ate there. Â In addition, I do not enjoy paying full price for food that was prepared days earlier and re-heated. Â (Chillis or Applebees doesn't even do that) Â That is the impression I was left with when I left the Bridge last night. Â Let me explain...I have visited The Bridge two times in the last 10 days. Â I left the first time I left content but unsure if what I had just experienced was an accident or the standard. Â The food was above average for Pocatello, however the service did not match the cost or environment. Â Sometimes, I have to wonder if the waiters take less care of customers who are not drinking alcohol. Â Maybe, maybe not, but last night (my return visit) the thought did cross my mind. Â After waiting an hour for our dinner (without so much as a comment from our waiter) the food had arrived! Â That is good, because I do have an hour limit before moving on. Â What was interesting was they were not busy. Â A Tuesday evening, after 8:00p.m. should not be a problem to prepare three plates. Â The plating was excellent for both visits. Â However, last night I ordered the pork tenderloin and it was dry. Â Bone dry as in sandy desert dry! Â There is no way it could have been that dry had it been made that day. Â I should have known better and asked when it had been prepared. Â Lesson learned! Â My wife ordered a dinner salad and she was never asked what dressing. Â We assumed it would be caught and we would be asked prior to plating. Â Nope, it came out fully covered with a vinaigrette. Â I noticed as we were just about to leave a couple sat down and before we had paid, they had their meal in front of them! Â I couldn't believe it! Â And yes....they were drinking. Â (I'm sure just a coincidence). Â Regardless, after reading the reviews I did notice a fairly common theme. Â Some reviews are really good and then others are complaining of the same service I'm referring to. Â My advice, don't go unless you have time and lots of money!
Aweful, the fish was over cooked and I mean over cooked I sent it back and then it came back raw like in our face for sending the dish back, the dish made no sense large pieces of red and green pepper with rice and scallops ~ the rice looked like it was a week old....clearely they need a chef.
Review Source:This restaurant is most likely the most elegant restaurant in this tiny town . I went there with my boyfriend for a late dinner found the service to be professional and attentive. We ordered the Hoisin glazed ribs appetizer  and loved it. the waitress was knowledgeable about the wine list and the menu. I ordered the scallops with stuffed mushrooms appetizer and caandied brussel sprouts. My boyfriend ordered the smokehouse hamburger They were both cooked perfectly. If you enjoy a up town loft ambience, want meat and seafood, you will enjoy this restaurant. Prices are typical of what you would find in any urban uptown bistro.
Review Source:If you come here, you should try the lamb skewer apps, they really set up the whole meal for us. Â We were in Pocatello for a business trip and on our last night, wanted to have a more upscale meal. Â It's not that I don't like Mexican food, I do, I love it but I wanted something else this night.
The owner of the Clean Museum suggested this place to us and he was right. Â It was really big with a big patio and we had a waitress on her first night solo wanting to make sure she impressed the boss, which she did.
I don't think there was a thing on the menu I wouldn't have enjoyed but I made my usual safe choice and had a steak. Â Outstanding. Â
If you are ever in Pocatello, go to the Clean Museum and then come here, it's a unbeatable combination.
Wow, what a nice restaurant. Although I didn't really see a bridge anywhere I thought the restaurant itself was gorgeous. Â We sat on the patio which in retrospect I wouldn't do again, the trains were so noisy and the chairs are not at all comfortable.
I loved my food! Â I was very pleased with the lamb skewers for our app, so tender and cooked just right! I had the pork chop special which was quite tasty. Â Our server was brand new, only her second day but their training must be great as she did a wonderful job.
Dessert choices were somewhat limited so we skipped that as well as coffee so I cannot rate those parts of the dining experience.
If you find yourself in Pocatello, this is a very nice restaurant with elegant food. Â You will pay for the elegance but it is worth it!
Formerly Senang...NOT Senang. Â My partner and I waited about 45 minutes (after being seated and given water) for someone to come to our table. Â It was almost as if the wait staff was avoiding our looks. Â They weren't busy, and had staff waiting around behind the bar. Â Finally, we got up and left. Â I had been a few times before this and was also unimpressed. Â The food is over prices. Â It isn't bad, but I would prefer many of the other places in town (the sushi place on 2nd street, the greek or indian place in old town, PVB right down the street from the Bridge). Â I love the location, but will never go back due to the last few experiences. Â I hate to down local business---but they are getting the three strikes rule out.
Review Source:Formerly Senang, this place is still awesome!
Altho the menu is brief it is broad in offering! Everything we tried was phenom...the wine flights, apps and main course were cooked and served to perfection. We had one small imperfection and the serving staff fixed it within a minute...thanks!
The Chef d' cuisine...LOL, came by our table to thank us for our patronage...we dropped to wash his feet...
Go soon before it gets to cool to sit out underneath the full sail on the deck and listen to the UPRR hump cars and the dusk of the day!
This casual-but-classy joint evolved from the former Senang, and is still worth your hard-earned cash. Â In our two visits since the name and management change, I've found the food to be made from high quality ingredients and well-prepared. Â The flank steak is particularly delicious, with a demi-glace that I still think about a few days later. Â The kitchen is a little slow, but the wine menu is well-stocked and there are plenty of good beers on tap. Â They've also abandoned the weird bistro/tapas/indonesian fusion thing that Senang was trying to pull off, with a more straightforward menu that will likely be more successful in this blue-collar town.
We've particularly enjoyed that this place is now kid-friendly, with highchairs, booster seats, and a kids menu. Â Our 2-year-old son really digs the shoestring fries.
The prices continue to be high for the area, but reasonable for the quality of food. Â Expect to pay $60-$80 for dinner for two with drinks.
