So far this place has kept is Irish pub atmosphere without degenerating into a lame sports bar, as so often happens. There are several great beers on tap and the salads are tasty. The fish and chips had a good batter but the fish was thin and gelatinous. When I asked about it's origin the waitress proudly proclaimed "it's cod." Hmmm, well it is the desert I guess, but the fish should be better. Otherwise this is a great pub with great views.
Review Source:My review is based strictly on the atmosphere and beer selection. Â I was warned by two friends, independently, that the food was poor and had made them ill. Â Needless to say, I respect both of them enough to heed their warning. Â That being said, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Â The views of the organs are great from the patio or just inside the patio. Â The beer is great, with many "somewhat exotic" beers on tap, including Smithwicks.
Review Source:Ok, here is another trip up the hill and another item on the menu reviewed. Â I thought I would try an basic item for an Irish Pub, The Corned Beef Sandwich. Â I am sorry to report that it was rather bland and not exciting. Â I still think this place has a great atomosphere, but I am inclinded to think from here on out that I will not go for the food.
