Yum! Awesome find in downtown Lexington. Loved the Rappahannock Cabernet. Everything was delicious. We sampled the chicken, quail, and steak. All very good. Loved the cheese plate and bread. The highlight may have been the Nutella creme brûlée (and the ruby port). Also, one server worked the entire dining room and was pretty spot on!

Brix has great tapas with fresh, quality meat and vegetables. The flavors were unique and very comforting. We grabbed an outdoor table and sat and chat with the owners for a couple of hours. The desserts were excellent, but admittedly, the wines were only decent. Dinner for two cost us about $70; my girlfriend and I had a fun, warm, and romantic experience there.

My husband and I eat here regularly and always have a great experience. The small plates are too small for some, but they really are reasonably priced... And we love ordering lots. Rather than stuffing yourself on one huge steak or pasta dish somewhere else in town we love to have a few bites of each dish and dinner stays delicious til the last bite. The menu changes often, last night we sampled the latest and it was one of the beat ever. The server always guides us to her favorites, which would usually not be my first choice to order, but she has never led us astray. The lamb ragout on homemade pasta made me want to cry. I would never usually order it. Leeks? Meh. But she told us it was one of her favorites... These were topped with flavor explosion mushrooms and some kind of crispy charred grass-like thing, crazy, and crazy good. We always get dessert too, not to be missed if you have a sweet tooth. Once in a while we go somewhere else in town to mix it up, or spend less money, but we always regret the meal we missed at Brix. The best food in Lexington and worth every penny.
