Food was good. Atmosphere is great.
Service on the other hand was not up to par for a nice restaurant with wait staff dressed in formal attire. The waiter (For management, his name is a city in Florida) had the social graces of a waiter  at Denny's. Our first contact with him was: "You guys know what you want?" (I was with a 84 year old lady). It went down hill from there. When I pay $85 for a light dinner for two, I expect more!
Service seems to be the weak link in most of the restaurant's reviews.
I stopped in here on a Monday night to have dinner with a co-worker and this turned out to be a huge mistake!! Â After having 2 other horrible dining experiences down the road and deciding to give this place a try I was so disappointed that we left without even ordering a drink. Â We were seated in a timely manner upon arrival but it was "Motown Monday" which featured live music which was so loud that I couldn't hear myself think. Â The atmosphere made me so anxious that I started to sweat and was looking for a quick way out. Â After almost 10 minutes of waiting and getting overwhelmed by the music we had still not been offered a drink or even greeted by a server. Â I was ready to go and thankfully so was my co-worker so we non-discreetly walked right out past the waiter who never greeted us and the hostess who sat us but never followed up to see if we had been taken care of. Â If I was in the mood for loud music and was only looking to have a few drinks I may have been able to gut this out but based on how long we waited without as much as a greet I doubt I would have been able to consume a few drinks. Â I would not likely return and certainly wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for a place to have dinner,
Review Source:First time to the Broadway Grill and overall a good experience. The building reminds me of an old bank or store with a bit of history. Lighting inside has a tint to it. Tonight was jazz night. The musician and singer was in a balcony area on the second floor overlooking the room. Nice to go to a place with live music :) Service was good. Food was excellent. Three of us shared smoked trout salad, harvest squash risotto, 16 oz bone-in rib eye cooked medium, and Neapolitan baked Alaska. Bill was low 80s plus dollars. The rib eye was pretty pink but very juicy. Â The baked Alaska was very good :) If you are in the neighborhood, definitely go check them out.
