Bubba's Roadhouse

BF and I stopped by here on our way to a hiking destination. Usually we're the type to clean our plates, but we didn't even want to finish half of our food at this place. The BBQ we ordered was super dry and the fries were limp.  The large portions would be great if you could ignore the taste.

The burger dip was pretty good.  The fries are excellent!

Stopped for a mid-afternoon sandwich and fries to go, and wish I hadn't.  Sandwich was very ample and the meat tender but just lacked any real flavor. There was a container of what appeared to be an au jus that tasted like a thinned out liquid from a can of baked beans with some familiar but unidentifiable flavor added.
   The unsalted fries were real potatoes and had they been cooked properly had potential...but they were dark and limp. Seemed like they had been microwaved as did the sandwich roll.
    Had the coleslaw on the side and this was the only bright spot.
