Got a 25$ certificate from <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Frestaurant.com&s=c5fe485af4df376130bee54f875814d79c4d7913e1258123b1206d2bdbf4873b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://restaurant.com</a>. Buckey's waiter said they are no longer participating and asked the manager who wouldn't honor it. <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FRestaurant.com&s=0aab4cbd731f3d3b0d1453050d3abc56a8c80bd214e25469c7555b750dca8a51" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://Restaurant.com</a> states that any that have been purchased already before they decided this they have to honor. With that aside the med burger i ordered was rare and my wife had wine that was obviously expired. Never again.
Review Source:Wow, those ribs were delicious. When I ordered, the waitress said they were known for their ribs. When I was done eating, I wished I had ordered a full rack so I could have taken some home.
The boyfriend insisted on the appetizer sampler. I acquiesced. He loved it. I was less enthusiastic. Everything was deep-fried, which is ok for a sampler, I guess. They were out of fried mushrooms, so we got fried mozzarella sticks instead (which I definitely see as a win!). My issue is that two of the items in the sampler were fried jalapenos. There were fried jalapeno bottle caps and fried stuffed jalapenos. I love peppers as much as the next person, but maybe one jalapeno item would suffice. You could replace it with something... anything.... that wasn't deep fried.
That being said, even the fried stuff was delicious. The service was good, and I really liked the decor. It seemed like the type of place I'd love to go play trivia. That's supposed to be a compliment.
Shame it's so far away. I could really go for some of those ribs right about now.
Visited a few weeks ago on Saturday for lunch. Â We were met by everyone's worst nightmare, a waitress with an attitude. Â Everything we asked for was a sigh for answer, and then we felt like we were bothering her for even eating at the restaurant. Â It will be a while before we go back. She should get out of the service business.
Over all the food was not bad, but an attitude like that can turn you off.
We had dinner here a few weeks ago. Â The service was great - we were a relatively large party (including several kids) with some interesting personalities, and our waitress took it all in stride. Â She was great with all of the kids and basically whatever we wanted to order for them, she made it happen. Â As other reviewers have pointed out, there was a bit of a wait between ordering and the arrival of the food, but it wasn't so bad that we wouldn't go back.
Review Source:Good  food. Nice selection of apps a reasonable price. Good for families.
My only gripe, and why I can't give it 5 stars, is each time we've been there(2x this summer) once you place your order it takes quite awhile to get your food. I thought this was a one off from my first visit, my kids complained that it was taking a long time that visit for the food on that visit, but it happened again on our next visit. So I would recommend the place, but be prepared for the wait post order it seems to be the way it is there.
This is a great spot! Â It looks like a regular beer joint from the outside and essentially it is a sports bar and restaurant, frequented by everyone who knows it from bikers to country club members. Â And it's because the food is really, really good and there's a great variety past the excellent hamburger, steak tip caesar salad or chicken pita wrap. Â
If it's unknown to you, you might normally pass it by in favor of a more familiar corporate restaurant. Â Don't. Â It would be a mistake. Â Stop, walk through the door, be welcomed, Â sit down and order. Â I think you'll like the food, Â you'll be glad you stopped and you'll return again.
