  The worst. They should be embarrassed to fly the Marine flag there. In a nut shell, during a road trip back from
  NY, me and two other vets stop in for a drink and the woman bartender denies my friend/ shipmate a drink because she has a military id and an out of state drivers license. Mind you she just got back from Afghanistan and is over 21. Place is a joke.

  Great local bar.  Friendly service and good food keep me coming back.  Special nights for dart leagues, pool leagues, and trivia contests.  But watch out for the ghosts, because this pub is supposedly haunted!

  Buddy's is a casual neighborhood bar located in Trenton, NJ just outside of Hamilton (technically, in Hamilton Township).
  
  The staff at Buddy's is extremely friendly and accomodating... however the service is usually very slow because there is often only one bartender serving the entire bar and the dining area.  Just a tip: If you want better service, eat at the bar (not in the dining room).
  
  The food at Buddy's ranges from mediocre to very good.  It depends on what you order and what specials are being offered.  Most of the food is oily and greasy, however, so if you're looking for a healthy meal, this isn't really the place to go.
  
  I don't drink, so it doesn't matter to me, but they have a decent selection of alcoholic beverages.  However, their non-alcoholic offerings are pretty sad.  The iced tea tastes old, the water is from the tap, their soda is "bar soda" -- too sweet.
  
  On Saturday nights (around 8:00 PM) they offer a trivia game, which is sometimes fun to play.  Also, a woman named Mary sometimes bakes pies and cakes at home and brings them in for people to partake of (for free).  
  
  Overall, the atmosphere is friendly and casual, but often very smokey.  I recommend that you give Buddy's a try and see what you think.
