Really crowded on a friday night but we managed to get a booth after 30 min of waiting. For 7pm, that isn't bad at all, especially for the first week it opened. We ordered nachos for an appetizer and 24 wings to share amongst the 3 of us. The appetizer didn't come and we had to ask for it. Then both the assistant manager and the manager came to check up on us multiple times and even brought us our nachos and gave them to us for free. Kudos to them for Â
However, the second time we went, our wings go lost. we ordered burgers this time, just to try and they were not juicy at all and oh so flat. So I definitely don't recommend the burgers. We ordered 6 wings as an appetizer and they simply didn't come. We asked our server about them and he came out maybe 4 times to let us know he doesn't know why they are taking so long. I didn't either. 6 wings, c'mon. The wings didn't come until after our burgers were done already.
If I wasn't planning on using that free 6 wings coupon they sent to us as a promotion, I would have demanded to see a manager or something because that was simply ridiculous.
I guess I can also speak about the wing flavors. We tried Garlic Parmesan, sweet BBQ, desert heat (rub), chipotle bbq (rub). They were okay.
I've been here several times for takeout since they opened and been very satisfied, but my last takeout experience was messed up and I ended up going there with friends last night and had a terrible experience:
I went back there last night with a group of 6 friends to eat in the restaurant, we had a very disappointing experience and I don't think I will be going back to the Beaufort location. We were seated immediately and ordered drinks, our first round of drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive. We ordered food shortly after we arrived (before our drinks showed up), over 30 minutes later the waitress told us that our food was being plated and would be out in a minute, it was another 20 minutes until our food came out, almost a hour after we ordered. Our waitress was very good about bringing us water but when the replacement water glasses didn't have lemon and I asked for lemon. 10 minutes later still with no lemon, I asked again, she brought out a third glass of water without a lemon. I asked her for a third time and she apologized saying she was flustered because the kitchen was taking so long with our food.
After our food finally arrived I ordered a Rotator IPA, 10 minutes later the waitress came back and told me the tap head was broken and asked if I wanted a different beer. My friend's wings came with powdered buffalo sauce because you were out of liquid sauce which he was not told of when he ordered. I made the mistake of ordering the cinnamon sugar donuts for dessert 10-15 minutes later they were still not out, our waitress came and said that the kitchen hadn't put them in the fryer, and that they had just put them in and that they would be ready in 2 and a half minutes. Because we had waited so long she was going to give us two orders of the donuts and just charge us for the one. Another 5-7 minutes later the donuts finally came out. Not only was there one order instead of the two that were promised (not that I needed the extra calories), the donuts were still frozen in the center.
Went here expecting a good meal. Â I've loved the B-dubs in Indiana, so I was excited to try the new location here...however, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED!
I ordered 8 boneless wings with medium sauce. They came out in small pieces and was more than 8 pieces. Â They gave me the leftovers! Â They weren't fresh. Â You could tell they had been reheated and got cold very quickly. Â My husbands traditional wings were the same way. Â The wedges with cheese were the only thing that seemed to be warmed to the proper temperature. Â
The next time I return to B-dubs will be when I'm visiting in Indiana. Â I won't be coming back here with the poor quality here.
If you are looking for good wings, go to the Smokehouse on Hilton Head Island or go to Guiseppis in Bluffton. Â It will be worth the drive rather than coming to B-dubs!
