Overall the restaurant is pretty good. I find the best time to go it later at night (after 10 at least) and head straight to the bar area. It's all self seating and I like all the cocktail servers I've had. I don't sit at the bar top because I've noticed that one of the bartenders who tends to be there when we are shows very preferential treatment to his regulars. I understand paying extra attention to your regulars, but he does it to the point that he will not be busy at all and yet it will take ten minutes just to get his attention to pay.
The food is good for a chain. For appetizers I tend to get the fried pickles (delicious even though it sounds weird), coleslaw, and a veggie boat. I LOVE the Asian Zing wings and the Caribbean Jerk wings are also very notable. The only dessert Ive tried was this promo fried cheesecake thing that was okay, but not great. This isn't really a place for desserts ): Â
They have a pretty good selection of beers (according to my boyfriend) and I like their margaritas and frozen cocktails.
They have some good happy hour and discount days, I don't know what they are exactly and I don't want to misinform, but I'd look that up if you're looking for a deal.
It WILL get very loud and I'm pretty sure they show the UFC fights, that might be a draw for you, or it might be something you want to avoid.
Lots of tvs, really too many.
Overall, I like it though.
Yes it's a chain...but their wings are downright deelish. The hubby and I tend to come here on Tuesday nights for 60 cent wings. Our favorite sauces are the Caribbean jerk, Asian zing, and jamming jalapeno. Pair that with some French fries, coleslaw, and some beer or lemonade, and you've got a damn good meal!
Great casual ambience, full bar, more tv screens than you'll ever need. I've been to 4 of their locations and they have all been consistent with both their food and their service.
Went in on Wing day. Had a fantastic time with my girls. Our waiter, Tyler, Â was very attentive and knowledgeable. He was training someone at the same time. Being wing day, it was very packed. But that didn't stop Tyler from doing his job. His recommendations were right on point. Had a drink with cucumber and orange's with vodka ( forgot the name) but it was tasty. Wings were great. I got the Mango Habanero and Buffalo sauces (boneless wings). I also played the trivia game they had going on. Didn't win but Had a good time ;-)
Review Source:The newer server, Dustin, was awesome, our party of 14 was a handful. Dustin and Jennifer, the Assistant GM were amazing! We had an amazing evening and 3 of our team members at our table did the wing challenge in under 3 minutes.
There were challenges with our tab but the manager stepped up and communicated with us throughout the entire challenge.
We were very pleased with our overall experience and will be seeing the restaurant again next week!!!
Horrible. While waiting an hour for our food the staff was caught up in their own world. Carson was wearing Ambers jersey and they were running around showing everyone. Shawn and 4 other staff members were playing hand games at the front. They were throwing Things and being very loud. One staff member even threw a card across the place. This was awful. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. The staff had no customer service.
Review Source:I have mixed reviews about this place & I think the easiest way to put this is; Do not go while it's really busy. I've been there a few times to go with friends to watch a game & they were pretty busy & then everyone's order has gotten mixed up/forgotten. That's happened 4-5 times in the last few months. That might seem like a lot, but I probably come here once a week with a few of my friends for a late dinner. So I've had more good experiences than bad.
Right off the bat, table service is more efficient & customer service oriented than the bar area. But the bar area is more fun.
I come here a lot because the fried pickles & wings are amazing. I love the dry rubs that they have, I'm not really a sauce person. The alcoholic drinks here are also delicious, knock out punch is for sure my favorite. Most of the waitresses are really cool, always willing to give an opinion of the drinks/food they like & dont like so much & they're really attentive if it's not too hectic in there. All around, it's a pretty awesome place to have a few drinks with friends & just hang out for a bit.
The food was decent; however, the service was beyond horrible. Waitress brought my wings out and dropped one wing on my brand new white blouse. Did not apologize, but brought me over some wet paper towels to help "clean it off." Pretty sure a wet wipe isn't going to get buffalo sauce out of my shirt.
Review Source:Don't. Just don't. We walked in, we're fairly regular there, sat down on the bar for ten min. The entire staff walked by making eye contact with us multiple times and no a single one said hello, asked if we'd been served, or offered any time of hospitality what so ever. The only greeting we got was "have a good night guys." From the host stand. We didn't even bother to ask for a manager fearing they'd be just as incompetent as their serving staff. They used to have friendly, fast service, but it appears those are gone. So don't go. Save yourself the trouble and go to Wing Stop or Elephant bar.
Review Source:I've been here a few times for a break away from brown bags I drag from home each day and have never left disappointed. Â The servers are always on top of refills and recommendations on wing sauces and marinades. I believe they do a 50 cent wing special on Tuesdays which is right up my alley. Â They also serve you veggies (carrots and celery) with your order so you get a dose of your daily vitamins while consuming massive amounts of wings! Â As the name discribes, if you're in the mood for wings and a fun sports environment without the trashy hooters outifts, this is the place for you!
Review Source:The most important thing, the wings come out just as described on the menu. They have so much flexibility to make them the way you want them and if you order correctly you will get just exactly what you want. My wife and I are very, very pleased with BWW and will go there when we want our wings "the way we want them".
Review Source:I've been here a couple of times and I always have an excellent time. This place is PACKED when there is a fight or major game on so plan accordingly if you want to come here to check out the TVs.
You can choose to either sit in the bar area or wait for a table. The last time I went the wait was only 10 minutes so I opted to get a seat instead.
We ordered the garlic parm, salt and vinegar and Thai chili (I think that's what it's called) with a side of regular and lemon pepper fries. We also ordered the sampler that came with boneless wings, nachos and onion rings. The food came out promptly and was delicious as always. I wasn't too big a fan of the Thai/Asian one because I do prefer a drier wing flavor but it was good nonetheless.
They also had these little gaming consoles that you could use to play their trivia game or poker.
Overall, a good experience as always.
One of my former co-workers introduced me to this place and I instantly fell in LOVE with their wings!
This place is huge and great for a night out with the guys to watch a game at. They have several big screens in the bar so whatever game you're wanting to watch - they'll have it showing here no doubt about it! The place is awesome and the atmosphere is lively especially at night. I love their traditional garlic parmesan wings! It's blasting with garlic flavor and you'll be lickin' your finger after each one! Their wings are fall-off-the-bone tender; exactly how I love my wings! Their mozzarella sticks are also scrumptious! They are super cheesy and streccchhy!!
Love this place and I'll highly recommend this spot for all wing lovers out there!
How do you know you are getting older? Come in here and find out. So loud! The place has flat screen tv's everywhere and personally I felt like I was going into sensory overload. This place may be great for others but it's not my cup of tea.
As for the food... I don't think it is the most important thing there. Â It's like people saying they go to Hooters for the wings. Yeah... Right... Sure you do... Â Anyway the food is not the best. Works great as a late snack when in the mood for something that will satisfy the crappy food craving. Â Yes, I get those and I've found the place to take care of them.
The service is very good. They are friendly and super courteous.
So... Since I get the late night cravings once in a while, the place is too loud for me and I'm not really one to go watch sports on TV anywhere or even at home (boxing is the only exception) I just call in my order or place it online and I'm set.
The Mango Habanero wings had a great sweet and spicy kick and were above average, but the rest of the items we ordered were horrible. The burger was one of the worst I've ever had. It was very dry and had no flavor whatsoever (why can't I have my burger medium?).....and the fries were equally horrible. The service was also very nonchalant and our waitress seemed more interested in gossiping with her workmates rather than tending to her customers. I'll go to Granite's for my wings from now on.
Review Source:What can I say about this place? Great wings, good service, great happy hour. Wings are definitely better than Hooters in my opinion. Mango habanero, regular hot and jammin' jalapeno is where it's at. Also, get the fries with salt and vinegar seasoning... bomb.
Been here for happy hour a few times, and every time is great. Good selection appetizer and beer wise.
They have plenty of tvs, so you can't miss a game! This is a good spot to just chill and relax.
Buffalo Wild Wings has a great selection of wings, and the wings are delicious. This is a great place to go on a Friday night with some friends if you want some cold beers and there's some sort of game on. (Be aware, if there's a UFC fight, or some sort of sports game it will be extremely crowded. Plan accordingly! You'll be waiting a good 3-4 hours if you don't come early!)
We came on a Tuesday night (60 cent wings night for traditional wings!), and the server said it was going to be a little wait, but we were welcomed to sit at the bar! Good thing we did, because there's plenty of seating, and you don't have to wait, plus the TVs are super big!
Our server came semi promptly, (I figure it was busy, and we're at the bar, so I didn't expect immediate service) and got our drink orders pretty quickly. We ordered 24 wings, half lemon pepper (limited time offering here), and the salt and vinegar. (sounds weird, but probably the best selection for me here!) Keep in mind, that if you go on Tuesday nights, Ranch dipping sauce is charged since the wings are already so cheap. We also ordered a basket of fries as well. The wings were a good size, hot, and pretty good. The salt and vinegar wings were fantastic with a perfect punch of flavor, however the lemon pepper was a little bit too sour. It's the kind of lemony flavor that makes your eyes twitch involuntarily. We managed to finish most of them, but by the end, my eyes couldn't take it anymore.
The service was mediocre. Very rare did our waitress ask us if we were okay, and I pretty much had to flag her down for a refill on my drink. She wasn't very enthusiastic, but I guess if I had to work a long shift with crazy sports fans, maybe I wouldn't be either. 3.5 stars for customer service, but 4.5 stars for delicious wings. I'll come back again for sure.
The staff at the Sunrise Blvd location is really friendly and helpful. My to-go order was a bit late, but their genuine smiles and awesome customer service made it no issue.
There are a lot of different tasty flavors for their wings, so it's difficult to say what is my favorite. I'm a big fan of their spicy garlic and smokey chipotle barbecue. I can't handle a lot of heat, but the mango habanero is super yum yet painful!
I find their veggie portions to be lacking for the price. I could purchase 2-3 bunches of celery for the same price of their four 2-in sticks. -___- The place is tasty but pricey all around, so I don't go very often.
Met up with a buddy for lunch here today, and as always, we opt to dine on a Tuesday to take advantage of half-priced wings!
I ordered 18 (and took a bunch home, so no fat-guy cracks) and got 6 each of the Buffalo and Desert Heat rubs, plus 6 of the Thai Curry. I like the rubs better generally, since they make less mess, and they are not as sweet. The Thai Curry is excellent, however, so I usually get that one.
On this outing, service was good, and the wings more substantial and meaty than on my previous visits to the Folsom and Vacaville locations. Also, I had the joy of watching a lot of replays from the Dallas/Chicago game, and watching Dallas suck is one of my favorite pastimes!
Definitely a good lunch spot, especially on a Tuesday!
What can I say its a type CHAIN restaurant , servers were friendly but I don't feel that they handled our large group correctly but it was alright. The lemonade was very sweet but I liked it and the fried pickles were tasty. I believe they wings taste better on tuesday when they are .60 cent each (that means 5 for $3).
Ps. Busy place with cute guys (hint hint to all the single ladies).
This one was OK. Our server was probably new-- she mentioned that, oops, she forgot to make eye contact with any of us; she forgot to give us eating utensils or napkins; and SHE SPILLED RANCH ON ME.
Good thing I was wearing shorts and not a dress or jeans. It's much easier to wipe off ranch from a bare leg than from clothing. SIGH. The server didn't even realize we needed napkins until she spilled that ranch.
The wings are always good, if a bit overpriced. Came down to pretty much $1/wing. Eh. I honestly would rather make boneless chicken "wings" at home, but it's nice to have a place to go when I'm too tired to cook. :)
When I go, it's pretty much at the bar to watch a game (or four, simultaneously) on one of the 200 or so screens plastering the walls. I did take my wife and kids once but wouldn't do that again. For us, it was just too much noise and sensory overload for the young'ns. I recently went there to eat/work with my laptop and the WiFi was fast and easy to access (this could be dangerous as I work from a home office already!).
The food is nothing to write home about, though my bro would disagree. He is obsessed with the wings -- either the fiery-hot Mango Habanero sauce or the Salt & Vinegar dry seasoning (with a squeeze of lemon he says). Â I've tried a variety of items; pretty much crappy chain food, but if I need to eat while watching a game it does the trick.
Tuesday is the day to go, as all traditional wings (not boneless) are just 50 cents apiece. My last visit was on a Tuesday and the joint was still jumpin' past 11pm. My server, Joyce, was a sweetheart -- friendly and attentive even though she was slammed with other tables.
Last but not least: the BEST thing they've got going right now is 21st Amendent's "Back In Black" IPA on tap. I hope it's a permanent fixture but may be seasonal. I am totally biased, however, as 21A is a microbrewery in my hometown of San Francisco. So even though moving here means I left my heart in San Fran, at least I didn't have to leave my beer there, too!
This place has the definitely party/bar feel.  If you want a quiet, intimate lunch/dinner, then this place is not for you. There are  tons of TV screens with various sporting events on.  There are some video games for the kiddos.
If you want wings, this is the place to come. They are loads of sauces to have with the wings, we tried Spicy garlic, Honey BBQ, Hot, and Mango Habanero. WOW!!! All were delicious!!! Â There are 16 amazing sauces to choose from and 5 seasonings if you aren't into the sauces. The cool thing is you can order any combo of wings and sauce choices you want. Â
Prices and reasonable and service was good. They apologize for being slow but I didn't feel I waited too long. Â Definitely will be a regular customer here.
I don't think I've ever seen so many TVs in one place except for Best Buy. You can basically sit anywhere and be able to see the action during sports night.
Had to wait an hour because the place was packed for a UFC event. Once the place cleared out and the tables were cleaned, we were seated pretty quickly. Initially I felt like I was in a Pittsbugh Steeler restaurant because most everything around me was yellow and black. Our server Janelle was really nice and sassy. She knew the menu well and gave us some good recommendations and tips. The food came out fairly quickly and was pretty good. Highly recommend the spicy garlic wings if you're into some wings with a little kick. The asian zing sauce has a bigger kick if you're into that also. Love the sour cream & chives potato wedges too.
While waiting for your food you can play games on the big screens around you. They give you what looks like overgrown speak-and-spell devices so you can play games such as texas hold'em or trivial pursuit. One tip I have is to use the hand wipes on the table to clean off the keyboard since you don't know who or what has been touching them, considering that you will be eating with your hands later on.
I keep thinking this place is going to be better than it is...but it just isn't.
Wings are slow to come to you (these guys are wing experts, right?) and then they are pretty pedestrian. Â OK, but nothing special. Â And a bit pricey to boot.
They have a bunch of TVs, which is cool if you are into sports (which I definitely am), but the place is EXTREMELY noisy! Â Not necessarily from rooting (although there is some of that) but just ambient noise. Â They should hand you some noise killing headphones when they seat you.
The commercials are much better than the actual experience.
Eh, I don't get it. This place really isn't all that great. I could do wings out of the freezer section that were better than this place.
Sure they have lots of sauces to pick from, but I wasn't really impressed to be perfectly honest. Customer service was meh. Not a lot of people in the place, yet the staff was plentiful and aloof.
Is this a place for a bunch of dude to get together and yell and cheer at sports....YUP.
Not really for me.
I've given this location a little while to work on their customer service issues before posting my review...
Bottom line is, it's a chain restaurant. They've got wings, they've got beer. Come here on a Tuesday during happy hour and they've got cheap wings and cheap beer. Awesome, right? Maybe. The service here has been spotty at best. During my last visit, it had drastically improved, so maybe they are headed in the right direction.
I have been here when it's absolutely busy during football games, basketball tournaments, etc. and I have also been when it is not so busy. During the busy times, it is easier to have a more forgiving attitude towards being neglected, but when it is slow, I shouldn't have to track someone down to get more beer, water, or napkins. I am paying YOU money to serve me. Harsh? Maybe. But if I wanted to get up and go into the kitchen and make myself a batch of wings, I'd have stayed at home and saved my money. And likely not made wings, that's really more bar food. But I digress...
The food is what you'll get at any BWW; the service is uneven, but getting better. My boyfriend could probably eat chicken wings at every meal and not get sick of them, so we'll be coming back, and all I can say is I hope their service continues to improve.
The first thing you notice when you come here is that the place smells like feet.
The wings are pretty expensive it was about 12 bucks for 8 wings. The happy hour menu is not that big. Ashley B was our waitress and she did a great job. Very attentive and very nice.
Would I drive from Roseville to here again? No. Not worth the price.
Why can't they have a Buffalo Wild Wings in Sacramento. They have two in Rosevile that is barely three miles away from each other and they even have one in Stockton- I just don't get it.
Well, their wings are to die for - hella good. Â
I get the desert heat buffalo, which is spicy as is and I dip it with the mango habanero sauce. Â When it gets too spicy, I switch over to the asian zing dipping sauce. Â I think the mango habanero is their best dipping sauce here. Â
If your trying this place out, I suggest you come on Tuesday for the 50 cent wings special and buy the flat breaded wings. Â This way, you could ask for a few different dipping sauces and find out which one you like.
This is a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon. Â
When I first moved to Sacramento 3 years ago, I looked up certain restaurant chains that I've known and grown to love over the years living in different cities around the US - Buffalo Wild Wings was on this list. Some of the other places are Panera Bread and Einstein Bagels. Â You come to really depend on your old faithful eateries and sadly, 3 years ago neither Einsteins or Buffalos were in Sacramento.
Then, about a year ago I was driving down Sunrise, and like the bright gold of El Dorado, there was Buffalo Wild Wings! It's a little far out from Sacramento to make it a frequent stop, but I've made it out there about 4-5 times since its discovery and I've always had nothing but the best things to say about it.
I've really liked the addition of the Texas Hold 'Em to gaming machines (if you didn't know, there are these little hand-held devices that you can use free of charge, and they you can play Texas Hold 'Em or a Trivia game and compete with others inside the restaurant). Â
I would have given a 5 star rating, but when I visited on Sunday... something was missing. Â It was the heat! Â See, most things labeled "hot" don't faze me and the wings at BW3's (I don't know where that 3rd "W" comes from, but that's its nickname) do, making you have to take a big, deep swig of your drink of choice - a beautiful, symbiotic relationship. This time that all-important heat was missing, dropping them to 4 stars. Â
That's it though: Good service, good food, and event Coke Zero (if you care).
DISCLAIMER: I am not one of those hootin' and hollerin' types that goes to sports bars and drinks a lot of beer and orders wings by the dozen while shouting at a TV.
So, I came here wanting to see what all the fuss was about. Met fellow Yelper Theresa F for happy hour. They feature $3 Absolut mixes - meaning you can get Absolut with any mixer. That is what I stuck with, at least. They don't have wings on their happy hour menu though, which is why I came here in the first place! Other items on the happy hour included onion rings - which are made fresh, mini corn dogs, and other non-health foods.
In the bar area, it was LOUD. Granted, that Lin dude was playing basketball, but it was starting to give me a headache. So we moved to the dining area, which was slightly quieter and had more families. The ambiance itself is like one giant room split up by the bar. There are polished concrete floors, plastic seating and TONS of flatscreens. I think I counted (including the outside) around 57 or so.
I did end up getting the wings - yes they were good, but not orgasmic good. Granted, I'm  not a wing connoiseur, but I didn't get the appeal. They come with celery sticks and carrot sticks, a great way to counteract the fries that come with the wings.
Both servers we had in the bar area and dining area were on their game (may as well use sports terms). Fast, friendly, focused on the customers, and if I had any questions would make sure they got answered.
I ended up not watching sports and playing their trivial game. You can play against other customers at their Roseville and Vacaville locations. I Â got first place! I wish I won a prize or something - a free beer would've been nice! - but it was still fun.
I've been going to this particular for a while now when I visit my mom. Awesome  wings and sauces. Servers are friendly but they seem to forget about me when I'm there. Usually the service is really good but other times I feel like I'm playing tag with them to get the check or boxes. Don't forget about me just because I'm done eating!
They are really on point with refills though. I've never seen my soda glass empty since they are constantly refilling it.
I've been to this spot a few times now and each time it has not disappointed. It is a a great sports bar, tvs all over the place playing every sport that is being televised at that time. It can be a bit of a sensory overload especially for a sports guy like me to try to pay attention to it all and have a conversation at the same time (luckily it is a gift/curse for me to be able to do so).
Anyways onto the food and drink. They have a good selection of beers on hand which to me is very important when doing the wing thing. Whenever we have come here my GF, kids and I are able to get a good amount of wings, fries, onion rings and celery for a pretty decent price. I recommend getting the sauces on the side so you can get a variety of flavors. I like mine spicy/hot but sometimes it's nice to be able to temper it down a bit with a little more of the mild stuff. I have done both the traditional wings and the boneless and both have been good. My GF loves the celery sticks and they are a nice light compliment to the rest of the menu.
Every time I have been here, I have never had to wait too long to be seated and the staff there has always been very friendly and attentive.
A few warnings;
1. The "Blazin" is pretty hot, it doesn't hit you at first but after a few....DAMN!....That's when the beer comes in handy :)
2. It can get kind of loud at times, especially when a good game is going on.
3. Finally, beware the fried food induced coma that can occur.....last night we went in and ordered a lot of food because we were all hungry (let's just say we ordered our fair share....lol). Like the "Blazin" sauce it didn't hit at first, but by the time I got home it was only a matter of minutes before I rolled over and went into a deep fried slumber. Believe me I'm not complaining....nothing like going to bed on a full stomach.....now waking up the next morning that's a whole other story.
I know we will be back and I'm looking forward to it.
I am a mostly vegetarian & beer drinker whose friends like chicken.
Here's what I knows:
*Friendly and occasionally hung over staff :) (from my guess, managers don't yell at anyone!)
*GIANT selection of tasty wing sauce
*Big tvs that show all the sports you could want
*Good mix of men & women
*Mixed bag mixed drinks - my dining companion's jack & coke was suuuper strong, my gin & tonic was pretty light so it was a mixed bag.
*BIG basket when you order potatoes
I've never heard of this place till a few weeks ago when I came to watch the Raider game on a Sunday. Â (Ima 49er Faithful, but came with Raider fan friends!)
I really liked the casual & fun environment and all the flat screen TVs! They were pretty packed, but we only had a 10 minute wait for a table.
We were promptly greeted by Roseanna. She was super friendly and super patient with our questions about the menu.
We were starving and ended up ordering a lil' bit of everything on the menu. The 3 sliced steak slammers with french fries with a side of their Caribbean Jerk sauce were delicious as was the Spinach Artichoke Chicken flat bread. The soft pretzels came with a queso and honey mustard dipping sauce and were nice n' soft. The chips & salsa were served with a red salsa and green tomatillo salsa. Good stuff! My dining partners shared some wings with Asian Zing & Mango Habenero sauce.
I wanted something sweet to counter all the zingy sauces and chose a Bahama Mama which hit the spot.
Our waitress, Roseanna was on spot and I really dug the sports atmosphere. I will definitely come here again!
