This is my favorite place in Folsom! Â Anytime I have visitors, this is always our first stop before I show them around. Â The taps are a plenty and they are continuously changing. Â One of my favorite things about Samuel Horne's is the ceiling. Â The ceiling, coupled with the decor, really makes you feel like you are in a classy old west saloon.
Review Source:I can't believe I haven't written a review on Samuel Horne's yet! Definitely been there enough times!
The Place: has a fantastic pub-like feel. Wooden walls, small high-top benches and stools in the middle, cozy nooks around the edges of the place. . . a small bar at the end where you order your drinks and food. The "flavors of the week" are displayed proudly above the bar area with plaque-looking chalk boards.
The Service: The bartenders act as the servers and they are always friendly. The owner is in quite often. Some nights are trivia themed, and as silly as that may sound, the place gets PACKED on those nights! I think Wednesdays?
The Food: DELICIOUS! Their all-beef hotdogs/conydogs, their veggie burgers, their beer selection. I love stopping in for lunch for a burger and a beer before heading on a stroll down Sutter Street or riding my bike to the Century 14 Theaters for a late-afternoon movie.
