Okay ... here goes.
I read all of the AWFUL reviews about this restaurant.  I told my husband about them.  He wanted to take me there for din din because of the view.  I told him ... "but darling, the reviews are awful ..."  He said ... "who cares ... we need to check it out for ourselves ..."  So I said.  "Okay ... Let's do it".  So we made reservations for seven o'clock.  We walked into the 'joint' ... no people ... I mean, some people, but not many.  Atmosphere ... AWFUL I thought ... but coming from LA ... kind of a country club sort of mentality ... I 'went for it with an open mind' ... so we were seated ... not hard because the place was pretty much empty (Saturday evening) ... RED FLAG ... but we were seated and kind of looked out at the view which was just OK ... nothing to write home about ... I didn't know what to order ... (we  brought our own vino ... San Giovici from a winery that we had visited ... SUPERIOR) ... anyway, I had checked out their menu beforehand and was loving the idea of POT ROAST ... but when we arrived, the waiter said that the pot roast was just ok... not wonderful ... so my husband ordered a steak with mashed potatoes and green beans (DON'T) ... it was BEYOND awful ... I ordered the crap cakes (DON'T)  disgusting ... of all of the restaurants that I have ever in my lifetime visited, this one was the worst.  I'm sorry.  But if you take your chances, be prepared for a disaster.  The food was pitiful and frankly, I resented paying one penny for what we had.  We came home and had cookies with ice cream ... the best part of the evening ... I didn't DARE TO ORDER DESSERT.  Don't even THINK ABOUT TRYING this place.  AWFUL!!!!  (Our waiter was lovely.)
