Buffalo Wild Wings

This is not my favorite place at all. My husband loves wings and usually goes to hooters instead but by choice of his coworkers we ended up here. I've eaten here a handful of times and I am never impressed by the service or the food. The food doesn't usually agree with my stomach. For a guys perspective there are 30 tv's around this place so sports are unlimited.

I never thought I say this...but things are not well at Buffalo Wild Wings....My husband and I needed a place to go during the day where we could get a bite and a beer or two.  They serve Guinness so I was in and we both love ribs.  I'll admit we had a bad experience when we first went several years ago and it took us some time before giving it another try.  We ordered traditional wings and we were set...happy  We started to bring our young son, we still sat at the same table in the bar (I prefer a hightop any day) and there are games (though now only video golf).  It became our go to place for family night out.  

I've discovered other places locally through Yelp and so we haven't been to Buffalo in awhile.  I was sad and or confused that several of the staff is gone and management too.  A longtime manger that was there in the beginning whom had left and then recently returned was again gone and I only recognized the bartender....I always liked this place as the staff was always chatty and they knew your names...our new waitress Kelly was great and everything you could ask for in a waitress, which I took high notice of.....

Okay back to the food...I've tried many of the items on the menu and none stand out to the degree that I would say delicious...The wings are good i like that they have a large sauce selection, sometimes you have to tell them you want celery and they offer carrots too.  We always order a new item from just before the Superbowl. the pretzels.  These soft pretzels are the same you'd get at the ball park, soft and chewy, slightly salty and I recommend the sweet mustard dip.  On this trip I ordered my son, the cheeseburger kids slammer with onion rings, I ordered the pulled pork slammers and our guest ordered twelve wings with two sauces.  

Oh man...the burger looked dead and the cheese looked like a plastic triangle that was a slapped on afterthought.  My pulled pork was drenched in way too much sauce and I couldn't even pick them up.  The sauce looked like a side order as there was so much of it.  I've ordered these in the past and always enjoyed them. I told the waitress an she admitted that they have had that problem lately with over saucing. I called the manager over and he was wishy washy at most....in all honesty in the past the rating would have been better, but we'll see what happens with this new team of players...I'll give them another shot, but it won't be for awhile

Buffalo Wild Wings in Houma is like Buffalo Wild Wings in any town America. It is fun, loud, tons of food, and a place to watch sports on TV with the buds. It is nothing spectacular, but there are not that many places in Houma for a group to gather and be loud, eat wings, and watch the game. Your options are here or Hooters. Not two bad choices.
