The food is ok,nothing to rave about. Very loud. The dining area is not seperate from the bar so it's pretty loud when trying to have a relaxing drink to unwind. They do have about thirty draft beers on tap with a nice selection. However, they wash their beer glasses in a dishwasher that gives the beers kind of a "plasticy" taste! This is totally unacceptable to me.
Review Source:If it weren't for the fact that the food I've had there was pretty dang good, I'd say this place is terrible. When I first walked in I was bombarded with walls lined with televisions and sound bouncing off of everything. It was a shock to my system which I purged with copious amounts of over-priced alcohol. I'd recommend this to anyone who doesn't get seizures or faints from over-excitement.
Review Source:Wow, I hadn't been to a BWW in years. I mean, years. The last time I was at one, back home in Kansas City, my buddy met a girl for the first time. They're now celebrating their one year wedding anniversary. So...it has been a while.
I ended up here because I flew in to DC, drove down, and was too early to get in to my hotel. Since I love football, I decided BWW was a great place to watch some games, grab some healthy food (...) and a couple beers while I waited.
I got there around 12:15pm, so 45 minutes before the games, and it was dead. I grabbed a seat at the bar and was immediately helped by the very friendly bartender. She, along with her bartender in crime, were very efficient and friendly throughout.
Their beer selection is pretty good, both on tap and in bottles. They have all the basics, but also have some tasty craft beers as well, so everyone should be fairly happy with the selection.
For food, I got the chicken tenders with fries. You can choose a sauce for the tenders, but apparently they aren't actually tossed IN the sauce, it just is a side of sauce, which was disappointing. I got the Mango Habanero sauce, one of the hotter ones, which packed a good punch but still had a lot of flavor.
The building seemed fairly new, and was very, very clean. Lots of TVs, of course, which were all large and clear.
BWW gave me exactly what I expected, and I cannot fault anything in that regard. Solid place to watch some games.
3 times I have been to this location. The first time was with my family and we sat at our table watiing for service for serveral minutes. After the server took out order we then waited forever for her to return with our drinks... I ended up getting up and going to the service station and pouring waters for my family. When the food came (wings) it was highly disappointing. I am not even sure why I gave this place a second chance. The second time I went in alone, and sat at the bar. The only thing good about this place is the beer selection. I ordered food, boneless wings this time and again, highly disappointing. For a company that boasts wings they leave a lot to be desired. I again, gave it a third chance... this time just stopping in for a beer as I won't bother to eat at this place again. If I want good wings I'll go to the Greene Turtle, or even our local Irish Pub has much better wings than BWW. In any case, My third visit resulted in me leaving without a beer as I sat at the bar for several minutes while the bartender, (who doesnt even look old enough to serve alcohol) sat about 4 feet away from me incessantly babbling to the gentlemen guest also seated nearby. She did not even acknowledge my presence. When there was a long enough break in their conversation I asked if she was the bartender... when she replied "yes" I then told her she needed to go back to training because she is inept at her job. (A simple, "Hi I'll be right with you" would have sufficed until she could exit her conversation with the chatty gentlemen)... I alerted managment just to be kind enough to give them a chance to save future humiliation with other guests; However, I will NEVER go to this place again. Dare you go.... you may also be highly disappointed.
Review Source:My first trip to a BWW!  Service was great.  My son and I wanted to watch the race and  when I mentioned it to the host he sat us right in front of the big screen and adjusted the whole restaurant audio to the race!  Awesome!
I was very disappointed with their inventory, there were all out of the draft beer I requested and then the manager informed us they were out of the popcorn shrimp my son ordered. Â eh.
They also brought our food out separately which is just a no-no. Â Other than that, which some may same is a lot, I was cool with the joint. Â Certainly Ill go back--I think I just caught them on a bad night.
I had a chicken sandwich with a hidden surprise. Â I took a bite and almost swallowed a half of a plastic bread bag tie. Â They did comp the sandwich, but that is a real disregard of food safety and shows a very sloppily run kitchen. Â The replacement chicken wings which took the place of my sandwich were extremely dry. The place is also extremely loud and there is no separation from the bar so it's very hard to hold a conversation. I suppose this all solidifies that this is a place to come drink, not to have a nice meal. Â
One final note, if something like that happens and you are the manager. Â You should have some common courtesy to come over to the table and apologize. Â Don't make your wait staff do it!
As an addendum to my review I called and spoke to the GM. Â We were provided a credit so we came back a second time. Â This time the service was really bad and the food was not much to talk about. Â This is a bar, plain and simple.
Really, Really noisy. Â Service is somewhat chaotic. Â One person takes your order, another brings your food, random managers walking around asking questions all while the TVs and music are blaring. Â The food was pretty darned good but, sometimes it needs to go back to be warmed up. Â I go there frequently because I love the steak wrap but I wish I could hear myself think.
Review Source:Huge fan of Buffalo Wild Wings! My coworkers and I go there often, since it's convenient to the office. The food and the beer selection is worth the marginal service; I've had a few servers there that were less than stellar, but a handful are very good and attentive- look for Charles or Steven! They're awesome!
Beware! The hotter sauces are HOT! Makes for a great dare if you need a quick $20 bucks from your friends...betting against them, that is.
Don't let them tell you that you can't split the bill, either. They always can, especially if you sit in the bar area.
A poor dining experience punctuated with poor service and hidden surprises. My expectations were not very high walking in and they were never met.  It's a new chain sports bar in the area so it probably is clean. I figured I had shot at decent  wings and bar food.  Since i wasn't visiting on a Fri or Sat night, I wouldn't have to wait too long for service or food.  I was wrong on all accounts.
Went with my wife on a Tuesday night.  We were seated right away.  (BTW we were seated in a high traffic area near the server station)  We, however, waited nearly ten minutes before we were acknowledged by any wait staff. I counted at least 6 different servers that passed by our table.  Finally, a manager noticed us and got our drinks.  Our disinterested and seemingly annoyed server appeared shortly after the manager took our drink orders.  We ordered our food.  I order straight up hot buffalo wings and my wife ordered a cheeseburger.  Our food was served less reasonably soon after we ordered. Â
The food, like the service, was not good.  The wings were over cooked and chewy with little sauce.  The flavor was average, but they were not very hot.  My wife's cheeseburger was also over cooked.  It was also dry and flavorless.  She order medium and got well done.  When it was served, it was not served with any condiments either on the burger or on the side. Additionally, the only condiment on our table was a bottle of ketchup.  When my wife asked for mayo, the server returned with 2 mayo packets.  Which she just tossed on our table. Â
The dining room was very loud.  Not because it was packed with guests. Rather this was due to the loud top 40 music being played.  To enhance our dining experience, the table adjacent to ours was never cleared of its half eaten food and trash until a few minutes before we finished our meals. Â
The best part of the Buffalo Wild Wings experience, food poisoning. Both my wife and I became sick not too long after we left the restaurant.  Awesome! The perfect topping to poor service and bad food.
I do not recommend this restaurant and will never go back.
