Buffalo Wild Wings

Food was pretty good, service was ok. Manager in the white jersey came by and was very friendly. Changed one of the tv's for us.( this was on a UFC fight night, so we were pretty impressed they were willing to change it)

Rock Hill needs good places to eat.  And we've been excited by some of the recent additions to our options like Buffalo Wild Wings.  So tonight (Friday), in the spur of the moment, we decided to visit BWW for the first time with our two kids in tow.  The kids were great.  The food was far from it.

While our server was sweet and chatty, I hadn't even sat down before she started telling me about specials and asking for drink and appetizer orders.  There I was struggling to put a 9 month old baby into a high chair, removing the crayons the hostess laid out for the baby (really?), and trying to hang a diaper bag and purse on the back of a chair.  Please--can I have a minute to breathe first.  Thanks.  

Other than that, the service was great--our server really was very kind and the manager checked on us twice.  

But none of us had the heart to tell them that the only edible things on the table were carrot sticks and french fries.  We opted for the boneless wings in four flavors.  Quickly let me pause for a minute that we did consider whether or not we were unwise to order something other than plain old wings--after all, it's in their name.  But, if it's on the menu, it should be reliable.  And if they offer boneless wings, we should expect more than previously frozen, heavily breaded and hard-fried chicken nuggets drowning in sauce.  Seriously--some of the pieces were only breading and some of the were inedible.  [And for the record, Thai curry isn't "yellow" Indian curry--it's a totally off description, but that's probably a franchise thing...]

If you're going to serve wings--you better do it well.  Even if they're boneless.

My hunch is that most, if not all, of their food comes into the restaurant frozen--probably makes for good quality control.  But it's not good food.  And we're not going back.

We have been 3 separate times. The first time was for lunch my daughter and I went  nothing out of the ordinary food was good, service was ok.
Second time my husband and I went on a Friday night and they had a major meltdown or something! Food was wrong waitress never checked on us after giving us our food. Total let down!
Third time it was my son's birthday and he wanted to go here. The service was excellent and food was good. They even called out his name over the place and gave him a bottle if sauce for his birthday.

So basically it was hit and miss some good and some bad. We will try it again I am sure & hopefully we get them on a good day! :)
