This is a classic combo of something old turning into something new. The place itself has gone by many different namesowners of the years. My google search showing Cruisers & Tubby's being the last ones that show up. Keaton's now has the place and has put in the effort in refurbishing the interior into a welcoming local pub. The reason why I would go here as supposed to some chain equivalent sports bar places is just the simple things. Yes, people primarily come in to knock back a few cold ones, shoot some pool, listen to some tunes all of which is great. But if you do happen to work up an appetite, the quality of the food here will not disappoint. The menu isn't overly exotic or huge with the emphasis being primarily on burgers and wings. However, everything they have is done exceptionally. Burgers made cooked to order so they come out tender & juicy. Wings battered and blended with special hand-crafted sauces. Fries always extra fresh and crispy. The menu is fairly priced which is good for the nearby college students to take advantage of  and last but not least the service  is down to earth southern hospitality at it's finest. It's nice to go to a place where people remember your face and you're not just another random patron trying to squeeze every penny out of your pocket.  Definitely do yourself a favor and stop by to support this establishment, you will be glad that you did.
