service is hit or miss here. This is about the only place in Waldorf that you can sit out on the porch and have a beer. The food is always on point -- if you've eaten at one you've eaten at them all. The beer has one or two rotating taps, but nothing that I would ever consider microbrews (flying dog is pretty common in my opinion). We keep coming back because of the atmosphere and it's cheaper to feed two people.
Review Source:I'm not a negative person, but don't eat here. The only reason I'm giving this two stars is because certain wings are good. But it's not worth going to. The atmosphere is awful, the waiters love to conversate amongst each other and can make for an awkward experience.
The decor is filled with local high school memorabilia, so it has this 1999 Applebees vibe to it that Waldorf is notorious for. I get that this is a sports place, and they serve wings..That's the only thing special about this place. Never tried the beer here, and don't care too since beer isn't my thing. The wings at Checkers are just as good if you want your greasy fix. But this establishment is not worth the visit. I don't know if its just that Waldorf is that bad when it comes to chains, but there is desperate need for quality places to eat.
This place is the worst BWWs I've ever ate at. Every time i go with friends, i already know what I'm getting myself into. Poor service is almost like a requirement here. I ordered 20 boneless wings the last time i went and half of them were cold, 1/4 were hot, and the rest were over cooked almost like they mixed left over wings together. I couldn't believe how slow is was at the restaurant and still the service was horrible. Since it opened back in January, I've been a total of 8 times thinking the place would have changed but i always regret eating there the next morning when I'm on the can in pain. i'm going across the street to hooters
Review Source:I called ahead for a carry out order. I was given a time for pick up. I arrived after my designated time and I still had to wait for my food. The server forgot the drinks that we ordered and I did not notice until I got back to work (partially my fault). They were unable to refund my card so I had to go all the way back to get them.
The food was ok. It was just a little disorganized. I called ahead because I have a limited amount of time to go out for lunch.
Shelby the bartender is fantastic! Everything else sucked, will not return. Our first server had an attatude because it was her lunch break ( I assume it was her lunch she spent the rest of our time there eating) the second server never told us her name and never refilled my beer glass, I just went to the bar and got it myself.
Review Source:I've been to this location a few times now. Â They have an awesome selection of beers. Â I was a little hesitant on what beer to get and the server was really kind and got me a free sample of one of the new ones they had on tap. Â They offer a nice selection of sauces and rubs for their wings.
My only negative comment is that I literally froze when I was there. Â I know it's summer and hot outside, but our entire table, 5 of us, were freezing. Â I had to keep stepping outside to thaw out for a couple of minutes. Â We could have eaten on the patio but one of the people i was there with wanted to watch one of the sports channels they had on. Â They have a lot of tv's in the place and the atmosphere was really nice. Â I'll be back for more...next time with a sweatshirt.
DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT!!!
For the record this place doesn't deserve 1star. Their service is horrible. Two times a row we've sat for more than 10 minutes without so much as asking if we'd been waited on. The food is ok at best, assuming you can get waited on.
I will never go back. Honestly I hope this place gets shut down.
Very small place for the size of the area and distance to next BWW. Food is average for BWW. The TV screens are everywhere though and that's awesome. Wait staff doesn't seem to stick around that long, so service is usually not the same. Place is always crowded on main sports nights and the waiting area is tiny.
Review Source:Am I too old for this place?  I hated it!  Stopped here for lunch as it was cute from the outside.  But inside  it looked like it was having an identity crisis...it was like a night club - sports bar atmosphere.  Menu was confusing, music too loud for lunch, food was ...YUCK...all fried, greasy and tasteless... without all of the sauces it stood no chance!...Service was horrible and the place was pretty empty, it was not a warm and fuzzy type place. I could not wait to leave!!!  I hope I never go back!
Review Source:Disgusting. Will never eat there again. Â We went during lunch time. Â Ordered chips with chili con queso dip for an appetizer - the chips were super thick and had a weird texture to them. Â Kind of mealy once you chewed them actually. Â I got the traditional wings lunch special with asian zing (a spicy asian sauce) and regular honey BBQ sauce; my son got the honey BBQ and parmesan garlic. Â He demolished his wings saying they were quite tasty. I was extremely underwhelmed. Mine came out overly cooked, hardly any meat, and not moist at all. Â The sauces weren't fresh but like they had been cooked before and left sitting there. Â Our waitress was nice and efficient, though - but that's not enough for me to come back. Â This place will probably eat into Hooters's business but that's okay - it will make getting a table for the UFC fights easier.
Review Source:They just opened. Great service. Hope they keep the standards up. Cheese sticks were good. Mini corn dogs were a hit with my daughter. The Hot wings were really good. Nice mix of flavor and spice. Don't bother with just 6, unless they are an appetizer, or you are ordering multiple flavored to try. The desert heat, dry rub, wings were good too. Nice change, but the hot were better. Servers were on point, almost annoyingly so. We went at lunch, so there was no shortage of seating. Lots of tvs. Great place to hang and socialize. I will be back. They will force the local hooters to step up their game. Hooters has been hit or miss and usually a nice layer of pooled grease in thd bottom of the wing basket. Not here though.
