The four season room really sells it for me... Obviously if you're familiar with Delaware, you're familiar with Bun's. It's always been a great family place. But with two bars and a way to enjoy the summer breeze, I think Bun's is becoming a reasonable go-to spot for the limited Dtown nightlife as well. Plus any place with Guinness on tap is alright by me.

Some of the previous reviews have been somewhat lackluster, and perhaps that was true at the time. But in my experience Bun's is only getting better. The menu is clean, simple and full of favorites. If you're looking for a full-fledged night out, then you're probably not looking to be in Delaware. Then again, if you're in Delaware anyway I'd be willing to give it another go or three.

We have been meaning to try this piece of Americana (est. 1864) for years and finally did Friday night. Good food at a reasonable price. The service was fine. Attentive but not overly so. My wife had the eggplant parm and I had the BBQ meatloaf.more than we could eat. My one gripe was the $8 price tag on a small glass of wine. Seemed high for the local.   Then again it seems like every Resturant  in the greater Columbus area things they are in midtown NY based on their drink priced.

Ever since my husband and I moved to Delaware we were told that Buns is the place to go and to try their chocolate cake. So we went and we tried.

It has the unique ability to cater to a variety of clientele. When we dine, the main dining room tends to be more family oriented with plenty of moms, dads and children. Being married and children-less AND wanting to enjoy their newly renovated four seasons room/patio we opt to sit outside and enjoy our beers. It has the best outdoor dining experience in all of Delaware.

The food is another blend of home cooking. The mousaka, meatloaf, and open-faced hot turkey entrees are by far my favorites. Good old comfort food. Beyond dinner, it's just a great place to go, relax, and have a drink out on the patio.
