Tavern 42

I stopped in for lunch with a friend on a Saturday afternoon in November.  It was not crowded, so we were able to sit right away.  From the first impression, everything was clean, orderly, and there were no unpleasant smells, etc.

Our waiter was likely a high school kid, but he was nice and efficient.  I ordered the fish sandwich special with sweet potato fries and my friend got the vegetarian burger.  The food came out super hot and tasty, but my sandwich was HUGE - literally two 6" fish fillets on a 12" sub bun.  I could barely eat half, so I was able to take home plenty :)

I ride at a barn in the area, so if we are hungry we will likely be back again.

Tavern 42 has the best mac and cheese ever! The staff is nice and they always have great wings. The meatloaf is awesome too. The burgers taste like frozen artificially grill flavored, and they kind of remind me of school cafeteria burgers. I would pass on them.

Came for the happy hour drink specials and was not dissapointed.  Great deals and a location that's not too close to Columbus, yet not too far away!  The Tavern had maybe 10 people in it aside from myself and my companion. Great place to go for a clean atmosphere, and great deals!

We live 5 minutes down the road and we will be frequenting again. For sure!  Mark, the bartender is very attentative and spot-on!
