  Whilst on the stretch of Hiway 6 between College Station and Waco, certainly you have seen the only town that has the highway separated with this appealing (if you are hungry) chicken sign.  
  
  We stopped today and have a Yelp.  
  
  Bush's Chicken which I think is a chain out of Waco, is in fact down here in Riesel.   And the chicken is good.   I was hoping to find a real Dublin Dr Pepper made with sugar instead of Corn Syrup, the Earth's original soda but unfortunately this location only has the corn syrup version.    Yet it was cheap at .50 for a 32 ounce.    Since I don't consume corn syrup anymore I opted for an Iced Tea which was acceptable at .50.
  
  As I have mentioned in other reviews of the Waco area, there is a drink price war going on here where you can get giant drinks for .50 everywhere.   Even while Dublin Dr Pepper hasn't made it's way to Riesel, they are matching the drink war prices of Waco.  
  
  The chicken breast I ordered as a single piece at $2.05 was excellent.   Blows KFC way outta the water.   The breading is so nice that I could eat only the breading and be happy, but the breast was juicy and tasty.   So yet, if you are coming through Riesel and are wondering about the chicken here, it's worth the stop.
