I stopped at this place on a sunday after driving through the heights looking for a random bar that I have not been to. They have garage door walls open. It was perfect for a nice sunday afternoon. The bartender was friendly and the service was great. This place is good if your looking for something simple. The beers are mostly domestic. They do have modelo and dos equis if your are looking for imports. Beyond that there is not much of beer selection. Like I said if you are looking for something simple this place is great. They do have pool tables and games.
Review Source:Growing up I remember driving by places like C&F at around 4:00PM on a thursday, seeing what appeared to be open air arcades full of people having fun all day. This kind of thing blew my freakin' 12 year old mind... I wanted to go to the places with garage-door walls and pool tables. Well exactly 14 years later- I did just that.
C&F is unassuming. Pure and simple. But the service was remarkable.
The well seasoned bartender would come out from behind the bar to add ice to our beer bucket and would always condense the remaining 2 brews into the next bucket ($13.00 for 6 beers) and when we ordered Pinks Pizza to be delivered she walked the delivery guy back carrying a roll of paper towels for us. We had some people join us later- and she brought them out koozies!
The beer was freakin' cold as all hell. The pool was only .50 cents and everyone at the place was a regular... except us.
We will be going back- no doubt. To sit atop the floor anchored bar stools and stare at the 100 year old (it sure looked it) cast iron beer crusher. We will become one with the slot machine playing ladies in the corner and the pony-tailed dude by enjoying cold suds in a 1970's time machine...
