I stopped by there on a recent Monday night. Not a lot of folks there but it is a pretty good sized bar. Drink prices were OK and so was the ambiance. They were doing karaoke that night like they do most every night. There were not a lot of participants so you got to do a lot of songs. Kind of a laid back place with mostly working folks there.
Review Source:I was there in December around Christmas time 2009. Â It is not near the University so you won't get a bunch of college kids taking over the place. Â In fact, the two times that I was there, there weren't very many people at all so I got to sing quite a lot. Â If you are a karaoke lover and love to sing a lot this is the place to go. Â They have karaoke seven nights a week. Â Wow!
This bar is quite roomy. Â It's not a dinky place. Â I would say the bar has more of a blue collar clientele than anything else. Â The people are friendly enough so if you were to go in by yourself you would have fun. Â There are pool tables and also they have live bands I think on the weekends. Â When they do have the live bands there, they have a room in the back for the karaoke, otherwise the karaoke is in the main part of the bar.
You definitely should check this place out.
I was only there one time but I remember it being a shady, dive karaoke bar. Â There were several older men wearing cowboy hats that ended up buying drinks for most of the party. Â The high point was definitely the rose handed out at the door to every female that walked in that night!
