This place has great cupcakes, the day old is always as good as the fresh cupcakes. Only big negative is customer service. Don't expect great or even good customer service when you go. I've gone multiple times and it never matters who is working the counter, customer service is lacking.
Review Source:The only coffee shop for miles; if you're in the area it's worth stopping by! Coffee selections good, nice cupcakes and a light meal menu as well. Only gripe: it's so frou frou! White and sea foam paint looked more appropriate for the white hairs, who coincidentally were all in Cachette playing cards. But you can take your food to the outside eating area, weather allowing. A nice little place.
Review Source:Cute little cafe/bakery. I stopped in here for a casual job interview and was pretty happy with the atmosphere. I'm glad I got there early because it took them 15 minutes to make a latte. I got the feeling the staff was new and the shop had not figured out a rhythm yet. Once they get their timing right I would love to go their again for brunch (or maybe just a crazy delicious cupcake).
Review Source:Darling place but you could pass it by and not even know it's there! Â It's off of 377, and they do have a banner, so be sure to look for it.
I went for the first time today...just stopped by to see what they had. Â Cute dining area - bistro tables with white table cloths - perfect for breakfast and lunch. Â I had the three cheese grilled sandwich which was yummy and the Cachette salad. Â Perfect amount for lunch. Â Not cheap, but definitely worth it. Â They have lots of specialty teas/coffees/smoothes and other beverages. Â The cupcakes (baked fresh each morning on-site I was told) looked amazing!! Â I'll definitely try one on my next visit!
If you live in the area, be sure to give it try. Â We have so few nice, locally owned, places left.
Update: Â after three visits I knocked it down a star due only to service, which has been very slow and chaotic every time. Â Not sure what goes on behind the counter, but they could use some organization to help the service be more prompt.
OMG I am in love with this place. Â So far I have only been here once for a quick meet up with a friend to pick up some stuff. Â The little bistro is absolutely adorable in every day. Â I'd move in here if I could. Â It's warm, cozy, welcoming, and filled with lots of light. Â There is just a happy, cheerful, and soothing vibe I got when I walked in. Â I totally can see myself coming here with my laptop and getting some serious work done while having a tasty light meal, a protein shake, some coffee, a spot of tea, and oh say, like 14 CUPCAKES!
They have the cutest looking cupcakes around. Â I was sad that I had to cut my meeting short due to a urgent call from my mom requiring me to rush home and help with my nephew. Â Otherwise, I was going to get a box, to take home. Â Oh well, it gives me an absolute MUST reason to come back ... many times.
Staff here was warm, friendly, attentive, and engaging. I really only got to talk to the manager, but she is just precious and sweet. Â
So far, I'm smitten with this little establishment. Â It's just what this little sleepy town of Argyle needs....a cute place to get a bite, get some joe, do some work, and hang out and chat. Â I can't wait to write back more when I actually get to sample the cupcakes!
If I could give this place a SUPER DUPER 5+++ star rating, I would. Â I DO worry, that because of its location, this place may be overlooked and missed. Â It's in a very cute new two story shopping center, with stone buildings. Â I have driven past the place for a year (*sniff* All this time I missed out). Â
PLEASE make a point to give this place a try, so wonderful establishments like this don't disappear. Â Even if its a bit out of the way, I think you'll agree it's special and worth it!
Cachette is easy to miss when driving down 377. Â Look for the stone 2 story shopping center that almost looks like new homes or town homes. Â They do have a sign and a banner, but the buildings are just sat back rather far from the road. Â You might notice the sign on the adjacent building for "Noble Classic Homes", which is more prominent. Â Turn Onto Old Town Blvd, and head toward the Noble Classic Homes building, and then take a left into the shopping center parking lot. Â It's also a very cute little shopping center once you get back into the parking lot.
