Riverside has very few steakhouses, and this is as good as it gets if you don't want to spend a fortune. The Margarita's were generous and chips and salsa were very good. Steaks were cooked perfectly and prepared with high quality cuts. Our server was very friendly and helpful, and accommodated several special requests without complaint. The atmosphere is very casual even though some items on the menu would be at home in more upscale surroundings. Perfect if you want a good meal without having to get dressed up.
Review Source:Bring your appetite if you're ordering the "Big Daddy," a ginormous roast beef sandwich served au jus. Good flavor, though would have been better if the roast beef wasn't cold -- odd juxtaposition with the French dip on side. But still good.
Good service. There weren't a lot of people there so we got speedy service.
This place was awful! We ordered a pitcher of margaritas and there was a fly in it! While our waitress was trying to serve us she almost hit me in the face-twice! I believe she drinking herself because her eyes were half open & she was slurring. Disappointed all the way around with this restaurant. You can't pay me to eat hear.
Review Source:Went to the bar one time and had some drinks and bar food, it was pretty good, decent service... Took the family for Dinner, it wasn't good and the Cadillac margarita was made with a knock off Grand Marnier, another time ordered take out and the burgers were falling apart ... Not pumped on this place.
Review Source:This place was a total disappointment, Â its too packed, they wanted to sit us right by the cash register, their mango margaritas did not taste like mango! Its a good place to go if u want bad service lol..... the waitress was taking too long.... and when she brought out her food she had her thumb on the inside of my plate, freakin nasty! The bartender was eating while serving drinks, and they would hold the drinks on the very rim of the glass.. :-( so unsafe*
Review Source:The ribeye steak was very good and  juicy with a generous portion. The margaritas were made well and very tasty. The fajitas are good with lots of veggies and plenty of meat as well. My wife took home leftovers. Chips and salsa were quite good with what seemed like homemade salsa. I would definitely try it again.
Review Source:OK, so ate there again and this time my hash browns come NOT well done like I asked. Then I'm checking out my drink after 2 refills and there is something stuck inside of it that I can see from the outside. I stick my finger in it and scrape the side and its something like a piece of fat or left over food.
That's it I'm done with this place, there food sucks!
Okay, first I have to say I've only really been to the bar. I think I may have ordered food but I don't really remember.... Cuz like I said I was at the bar... for awhile ;)
Its cute. Decent place to get a drink before a movie. Affordable cocktails. Decent chips and salsa. Maybe I'll go for dinner after a movie one night. But not a place I absolutely have to run back to and try again.
A reliable neighborhood restaurant that we visit on a regular basis. The food is cooked perfectly, every time - just right for us! While the menu might at first glance appear common, it is full of surprises. We are having a blast trying different items with every visit. Yum!
The hot ticket is the Lighter Side of the menu. It's a deal for the price and yet you leave the table satisfied.
There's a decent wine list, a good bar and family-friendly.
The good news is that the desert menu was recently improved - so no complaints from us!
We are always running into people we know - apparently the clientelle is getting bigger and bigger. Everyone is finding out what a great place it is!
And another really nice feature is that the restaurant is located by the movie theater, and on Fridays & Saturdays, its open until 11pm. After the movie's over, a little walk through the parking lot and voila! You're having a nice glass of wine and maybe a little nosh or a full dinner. Sweet!
A GREAT OASIS!!!!!
What a great little place I ran into in Riverside, this place has a huge menu from steaks, fish and mexican food. And of course with all these great selections I chose the Chef salad lol. And it was just awesome loaded with ham, eggs, tomatoes & cheese. They have a nice dining area and a bar if you so choose. The service is great and the servers have tons of personality. I'm looking forward to going back and trying some of the main courses.
I go here often because it is close to my girlfriends house. If we want some appetizers and drinks it's hard to go wrong. I think the quality is better than some of the other choices of chains we have in the area and the portions are much bigger.
Service has always been friendly, for the most part.
This place is okay, but nothing great. The food is just about the same that can be found in any tex/mex restaurant chain for about the same price. I however was disappointed with the fajitas. They are kinda pricey and its mostly onions and bell peppers with a very few steak. The atmosphere is good at times, they have the games on. I would only recommend this place is you are in the area, but other than that any other place would probably be better.
Review Source:Read alot of good reviews so decided to try it out. the place is a little outdated sorta tex-mex decor. When you walk in and look around you can tell its a local spot, everyone seemed to know everyone. We were seated in a booth along a wall, where you could hear anyones conversation around you. Our server greeted us after a couple minutes she was  friendly I ordered a cadillac margarita which was nice and strong and then a caesar salad of course and a baja shrimp cocktail both were delicious my only complaint is that there were only like 5 small shrimp in a large cocktail glass...kinda a let down alot of juice left over. For our entrees I ordered the cheese enchiladas served with beans and rice and my boyfriend ordered the wet beef verde burrito also served with the same sides. Everything came out quickly and very hot. We both enjoyed our entrees, they werent anything spectacular but still tasty. My enchiladas were served with a red sauce similar to like taco bell red sauce in their burritos and the beans and rice were decent. If someone invited me to eat there again, I would look forward to it but I wouldn't drive out of my way to go back on my own. Its definetly good food for a decent price.
Review Source:Service here is topnotch with a very friendly atmosphere. Â The bar area is a definitely fun spot, so try to grab a seat when one opens up. Â There are flat screen TV's everywhere to watch your favorite sports programs and the place is big enough to bring many friends.
The food is really good for it's price, and the portions are huge.
I definitely recommend the seafood dishes with cornbread and mashed potatoes as your side dishes. Â The mashed potatoes here are very delicious, and I don't even like mashed potatoes. Â They leave some skin, and some potato chunks left in it, and it's baked and crispy around the edges. Â Also try the Mexican dishes: they are to die for.
