PERFECT spot for your Football Funday Sunday. Â $10 domestic pitchers and they let you order food in since the kitchen doesn't open until 3. Â Also have my favorite New England beer (Loose Cannon) on tap, so who can complain? Get there at noon and you get to pick which TV has your game on Sunday Ticket.
Review Source:I love this place, and I want to it be cool every night, not just when the Rugby team shows up for their Drink Up.
Its set up with various living rooms, one with a fire place. There are lots of pool tables, and dart boards, and lots of TVS. I believe, If I remember correctly, they have some sports packages once football  season rolls in.
They have a kitchen, I think, with pub style food, and the bartenders are always very sweet.
I wish it had more of crowd that went there though. When the rugby boys arent there, its usually pretty quiet. But, that being said, if your looking for a low key place to hang, this is it!
Great place for a low-key, good food, good music evening... Three or four pool tables in the back, darts on the side, local music (Tuesday Blues are a favorite!) and a nice cozy fireplace in the winter. Â Lisa behind the bar knows everybody by name, it is really just a local bar, without any of the pretentious snobbery of a lot of touristy Newport places.
Good burglers, good sweet potato fries, and the ever-popular Shepherds pie, no need to go hungry, and no need to go away disappointed.
Tuesday Blues gets some nice music going: Â Neil Vitullo is a RI institution, looks like he's stuck in fifties, and he can rock on that git-tar... Dave Howard is a bluesman from 'way back (think Roomful of Blues), and Mike is a local fixture on the drums, he plays for everybody, get them together either here or down at Fastnet Pub, and the place WILL rock and dance
....and with the rhythm of the pool balls clicking, people chatting, throwing down some dance moves now and then, it's just, well, some real fun. Â Yeah, I like it!
Edit: Â as of May 2011, Tuesday Blues becomes THURSDAY Blues... oh well, since Fastnet Pub now has Monday Blues, it keeps us more evenly blue'd.....
