Cafe Pyrenees

Cafe Pyrenees is an underrated restaurant in Libertyville. It is a perfect place for an outing with family. The food was delicious and the service was great. What impressed me the most, though, was the atmosphere. The inside is set as if you were in a rural village in France. Since it is so underrated, it is usually not so crowded, so you will be able to get a table that is fairly isolated, adding to the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. If you are looking for a place to have a relaxing and delicious meal after a long day, go to Cafe Pyrenees.

Have been meaning to write about this place for a long time.  Moved away from Vernon Hills and now this is my go to destination every time I return to visit.  The Beef Bourguignon is really really good.  I wish Chef Jean-Marc would bring back the Pork Tenderloin with the Shrimp on top and the mustard sauce.  That was always my favorite.  If your like me and in town visiting your best bet is to sit at the bar.  The 2 bartenders (I think Denny and Ro??) are extremely nice and will take good care of you.

Half price martini night on Friday...oh yes...great bar, great bartenders, just an overall nice place.
