The food tasted good, nothing outstanding, service was fast and very attentive, very good prices. Â Could choose between beans or rice on my dish, i asked for beans but got rice. Â No big deal for me. Â The food is the typical Americanized Tex-Mex kind of food with specials each day of week including a low price for Margaritas I think is Tuesdays.

We were craving Mexican and didn't feel like making the trek into Jacksonville, so decided to try this place. It's nothing exciting inside but good things often come in unexpected places, so I kept an open mind. The menu was HUGE--but strangely, nothing jumped out at me. I really wanted a ground beef burrito, but every beef option seemed to be beef tips (which I don't like).
The place seemed really louder than it should have been, but I attributed it more to the clientele (who seemed to think that shouting across a restaurant about something inane was proper restaurant behavior) and the architecture of the place (which is wide open in almost a cafeteria style) instead of just the general atmosphere.
I have a feeling meals are hit or miss. Hubby's fish tacos were pretty good and had fresh cilantro and onions and nice chunks of fish...but my enchiladas supreme (one chicken, cheese, bean, and beef, if I remember correctly) was boring with a nondescript sauce on top. They weren't awful, but just nothing that got me excited. The standard (not top shelf) margarita was okay.
The service was pretty good and the prices were okay.
We'd go back, but I'd stick to the menu options with fresh ingredients.
