The Canby

I think the reviews of this place prove how strong the drinks are at the business that Diana, Brett and Mike were trying to review, the Canby on Vanowen.

I know, you're thinkin' "OK hot shot what makes you think they reviewed the wrong location?"

Well, The Canby on Canby lost their liquor license in '07 and the building has since been destroyed. See for yourself.

So if you're going to review your favorite Sons of Anarchy, dumb cholo, tweeker bar at least get the right one!

Egh, let's be serious. I only like & come to this place because my friend's mom owns it & he bar tends here. The pitchers here are a decent size, for $5.00. There isn't a huge selection either. Best they have is I think Shock Top. Usually my friend's mom and himself are working here. She might look mean but she's actually very nice. My friend would be the handsome Prince Charming Looking Muddafucker with the long blonde hair and blue eyes :) He always hooks it up with the drank and he makes sure there's always chips and salsa at the chips and salsa table :) The crowd here varies from an old drunk 'sons of anarchy' looking creep, to me :) which is just plain laid back and just there for the booze and chips:)

On Thursdays, my friends are here playing their lovely instruments and us in the background singing along. I for sure know that if my friend didn't work here, I wouldn't come.

Two words, Tweeker bar. This bar is filled with old drunk men that want to touch you inappropriately. I love dive bars, but this one is straight up seedy! They do have cheap pool and the table is usually open. The drinks are cheap and strong. But those two plus's are not enough to bring me back. I've been there when someone shot heroin up in the bathroom, came back out and fell asleep at the bar. This place is awful.
