Canoga Park Bowl

Always fun!

Nothing fancy about this bowling alley, which is one of the reasons I like it here. Their staff is always helpful, and they have comfortable bowling shoes, which is important if you're planning on bowling for awhile. If you want something to eat, there is a restaurant attached to the bowling alley but it's not that good. Nice people working there, but there isn't anything special about the food and it's a been old fashion. Still, if you just want to bowl a few games it's not a bad place to go. Bargain prices.

This is absolutely your typical, stuck in the late 80's, bowling alley. This, of course, isn't a bad thing, but don't expect the Canoga Park Bowl to leave you with everlasting memories. We arrived late on a Tuesday night, and the bowling alley was almost empty. Luckily for us their rates were cheap ($3 per person per game & $2 for shoe rentals), so we were able to play a lot of games; in fact, after our 3rd game the managment gave us a 4th game for free! The bar area, which was also empty at the time, was spacious with an extremely friendly bartender. Easily the best feature of this location, however, was the attached (24-hour) diner. The comfort food they served was tasty and, best of all, cheap. I will certainly be back to play a few games with friends in the future.
