Yeah it's a steak house pretty much like any other. They have a really good salad bar with many options for toppings. The rolls with the cinnamon butter were of course delicious, buttery, and warm. On sundays they have a great special, 2 entres for $20. I ordered the 6 oz porterhouse steak special with salad bar and 1 side. I ate so much salad that I couldn't eat my steak. Â I ordered the steak medium rare, ate it 2 days later and it was still fantastic.
I can't say I need to go back to cattleman's unless I'm craving a delicious steak and fully loaded salad bar
I ate at Cattleman's for the first time last weekend, and it exceeded my mediocre expectations! Â While it is all "steakhouse" from the decor to the menu, they offered a wide variety of options from salads to burgers to steak and seafood. Â Typical yeast rolls were served while we waited for our entrees, but they came with (what I was told was) delicious, creamy cinnamon butter. Â I ordered the blue cheese burger, and it was not only a HUGE piece of meat, but also cooked to perfection. Â The mac-n-cheese was not spectacular, reminding me of a watery stovetop creation. Â My boyfriend ordered the ribs and steak and devoured both, along with a heaping pile of fries, deeming Cattleman's his new favorite chain rib joint. Â He is also somewhat of a sauce snob, and said the BBQ was fantastic. Â Alcoholic drinks were priced right, and it wasn't happy hour. Â The staff was pleasant and the food came out within a reasonable time frame. Â All in all, a good experience.
