Chaplin's Sports Bistro

Love this place! Kind of hidden so not too many people know about it. So many tv's. So far I have enjoyed the steak quesadilla, garlic chicken pizza, calamari, and Pesto Gamberi Pasta which was my favorite. I also enjoy the beer selection they have and I go on Sundays for bottomless mimosas. The service is great. My sister asked for strawberry lemonade which was not on the menu. The waitress made it for her with fresh strawberries and it was delicious! Prices are good, atmosphere is awesome and service is superb. So close to home... I might just become a regular.

Happy Hour: 3:30pm-6:30pm everyday, 'nuff said.

Okay so if you click on the "explore the menu" link on this yelp page you'll be directed to the Menu which includes a happy hour menu. A quick look will show you that the prices are indeed very reasonable. Also the food is delicious, I usually come here to eat at the bar by myself when I want to watch a specific game or if I want to just get drunk by myself. The food is good. I usually order the Chicken or Steak Quesadilla, the Calamari, the Lumpia and a bunch of drinks, all for myself. The portions are quite filling and it's really easy to just sit there munching away and putting down some cold ones.

A caveat about this place is that it fills up and packs very very quickly on any relatively important games. I've tried coming to this place for Niner and Warrior and Giants playoff games in the past and didn't even bother finding parking, on regular local games the place is pretty busy as well but you can usually find a seat or it's a short wait.

Comforting food, satiating drinks and a great staff makes for a great place for me to get drunk or pig out with my friends, or by myself.

Service is crap here.  But maybe we came on an off night?!  Who knows?  The waitress took forever to greet us after we were seated.  It took so long that my friend had to get up and get menus for us.  And by the time the waitress finally came by, we were ready to order.  SMH

Don't get me wrong, there are some pluses to this place.  I like that it's located down the street from our house.  It's clean, has nice decor, cool ambiance, and non-ghetto.  I hear happy hour is great, but unfortunately we missed it because home girl was taking too long!  Last, but not least. the Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are B-O-M-B.

The sliders were my favorite part of the night along with my glass of Pinot Noir.  That vino made my night.  Cheers to that!  (5/5 for my meal; 1/5 for service)
