Charlie Allen's Burgers & Grill

Charlie's is tucked inside an Alon gas station; it's one of those local-secret convenience-store gems. There I enjoyed what was easily one of the best burgers I've ever had in my whole life. I chose the sourdough burger, which comes with bacon and two kinds of cheese. Wow! Absolutely outstanding. The fries are good, too. And the folks are just as small-town friendly as you'd expect. Skip the chains and treat yourself to Charlie's. This is the real deal.
