If you're expecting this bar to be anything like the TV show of the same name, walk away from the building!

Cheers is a dive bar in every sense of the word. Draft beer, no liquor, too loud jukebox playing Kid Rock, pictures of naked ladies in the men's room, and NASCAR paraphernalia strewn all over the bar.

Come hear to play pool, or pick a fight.

I'm NOT the bar type BUT I've been to Cheers quite a bit, as it's been a great place to house our old High School (Royal Oak High School- when it was a HS) Get togethers and yes, we PACK the house! Both owners Glen & Mike are some of my old friends and Classmates. Cheers ONLY serves Beer and Wine so you don't get all the regular "partiers" just out looking to get drunk. Their prices are, in my opinion, CHEAP! Lots of great beer on tap - GREAT BIG ONE'S TOO!  Glen makes sure he gets to know everyone who frequents the place. So they always know you by name! Where else can you go where they want to get to know you and who you are? One of the great things about Cheers!  Also, Cheers has some GREAT Bartenders! I've seen Annette make sure her patrons don't go overboard and arrive at home safely after close! You can't get service or make new friends that have your back in any other place that I know of...Yes, it's very small but it's a safe haven for those of you who just like to sit and have a beer. It's a clean little place with VERY friendly people! I'm NOT the bar type, but if I were, Cheers is a place I'd be visiting more often...GIVE IT A TRY! When ordering, introduce yourself to Glen (if he's there, he'll be sitting in the first or second chair at the bar) and tell him Jennifer from ROHS sent you! You'll definitely have a great experience! That I can promise! If you play pool, darts, "Hot Spot", Lotto or just love music, they have it all! A cozy little place to just hang out with a bunch of very friendly regulars! :) They do have "specials" on Monday nights with Monday Night Football (one of the more busy nights) as on a few other nights and they do have EVERY sports channel (Prime Ticket?) and have TV's up through out the bar so you won't miss the game if you're playing pool :) Be warned. it is a house of the "Pittsburgh Steelers" lol I saw one review that said the music was too loud, if it is, just ask one of the Bartenders if they can lower the sound, they'll have no problem in doing so :) Also, check out all the pictures of past parties & people etc that are throughout the bar framed on the walls - Yes, I'm there too, can you find me?! I give CHEERS an A+

If you're looking for a REAL dive, not some hole in the wall full of hipsters and $10 drinks pretending to be a dive; this might be for you.

I'd give Cheers another star but it wouldn't want more stars.

Well,I would like to give this Bar a better rating, but last Weds. I went in for the usual Karaoke,& WHAT!NO KARAOKE?!
         Beers are cheap though.
They could also use HDTV's,& bring it up to date.
If you just wanna grab a brew or Two after work, this ain't a bad spot. The Jukebox is probably one of the loudest I've heard.
I wouldn't bring a Date there unless ya wanna leave her there.Sorry Cheers,I love ya but hardly like ya.

    Beer sports dive
A hearty serving of beer, 1 bar box (75 cents and bar cues), darts, and internet jukebox, friendly-looking older crowd.

Itsy bitsy little place I never even knew existed. I thought I had heard of all the dives in my area.  Shady looking characters at teh door. I called my friend as my car idled to make sure this WAS the right place.  Yup.  Okay.  Vodka, orange, and club please.  What? only beer and cheap wine?  Oy.  After a stressful day at work, NOT what you want to hear.  Oh, well.  They did have Fat Tire beer and that new clamato and beer mix Chilado.  So that is pretty good I guess. So after questioning whether that had various gourmet beers, I got a Coors Lite. Yup.  $2.50. not bad.
They do have that fake low alcohol vodka if you are in the mood for a bad hangover the next day.

One pool table, video golf game, internet jukebox, and electronic dart board.

The crowd was around my age (which means about 7 years younger than me at about early 30s, because I still haven't accepted my real age yet).  Mostly "average" looking crowd until the Vagos came in.  But everyone very friendly. The bar tender is a quirky talkative little thing.

The ladies bathroom was amusing.  The bartender tried really hard to make this a nice little haven with swaths of netting, floral wall paper, silk flowers, and other kitchy feminine bathroom paraphanelia!  Just wish it was brighter. My lipgloss could be smeared halfway across my face, and I'm not sure if I would be able to see it. You SURELY will not be able to see any peanut or pretzel clumps caught in your teeth.

OK place to get a beer if you happen to live in the area.
