Chic's Restaurant & Sports Bar

My last choice for eating&drinking...'nuff said

This is written from the perspective of an outsider, which I clearly was, since everybody else seemed to know each other. My visit was also on the last Sunday of the football season, so while there were a lot of Giants fans in the house, they were already sort of resigned to not making the playoffs, but I digress.

I've been to a lot of sports bars that sort of "don't understand" football. Chic's did. They had a pretty decent turnout, even if just about everybody left before the late afternoon games were completed, which was weird. People also left in the middle of the team that they were cheering for's game. This also felt weird, but I'm chalking it up to the first point, which was that maybe everybody goes to some other bar after Chic's, where they made fun of the poor Bears fan who had to cheer for the Packers.

On to the specifics, they have a lot of different beers to choose from, but most of them suck. It's the kind of place where Michelob Ultra is a popular choice. They had cans of Guinness that were clearly unpopular, since mine were almost frozen. I also got a burger and fries, which were pretty average, but cheap.
